Mabye try another charger, usually an X indicates that the charger is not the right wattage, even if this is the charger for the phone it may be malfunctioning

The phone keeps connecting me to Internet and I get charged big bucks. I do NOT want to go on web unless I specifically ask. Help please

Have you tried turning your data off? On most newer Android phones, there's an option to do this if you swipe down from the home screen. One of the choices should be data (you may have to swipe right to find this setting). To switch it off, just click on the data icon.

Seems like your phone ran totally ran out of battery, that is not a big deal you just need to recharge it for a longer time then usually you do. Hope that will solve your problem.

Thank you!

Okay my phone wont charge or wont cut on what do i do without going to go out and get it fixed?

Your problem is the charge port on your phone needs replacement. We fix them through our ebay repair listings for $44.95. Just type "sidekick charge port repair" for your ebay search and look for the listings with "PORT REPAIR" around a charge port in big red writing. Our ebay username is "its-a-pheo" We have fixed hundreds of charge ports and complete the fix the day we receive the phone from you. Feel free to email me with any questions at all... blackberryrepairshop@gmail.com

Charged, wont turn off/on

Try switching off the phone leave it off for some time and then switch it off...

If this doesnt remove the battery and put it back on... and then switch on the cell phone...

This must do the trick...

A small piece of advice mate... Never charge your phone for a whole night... Just put the cell phone for charge for some 2 - 3 hrs or till the batteries are fully charged... Your cell phone's battery would become weak if you charge for a considerably longer duration than required... And i am pretty sure that the problem you got now is joust because of that...

Hope this helped...

Not sure what is wrong here. Obviously you or someone else has been playng with the settings of the phone and have changed things. Nothing is broken so nothing needs to be fixed.

Go into your; "Tools and Settings" Select "Display Settings" and you can schange things back in there

boot_c_03.08.00r_mpap Paul Sager from FixYa has posted a solution for this problem previousley (as below). I have tried the Motorola and Verizon sites (tried the store as well) and the software is not available to flash the phone. Do you know of a site that would still have it available? Or can this question be sent to Paul to further comment on it? All I want to do is recover the phone numbers, notes and calandar from the phone via Activesync or Windows. Paul Sager 2335 Solutions July 14, 2010 I can help you with your Motorola Moto Q. What has happened is that the firmware of your phone has become corrupted. When this happens your phone will no longer finish its boot sequence. This is a very common situation with many phones: in fact, much of what I do here at Fixya is explain how people can fix their MP3 players, GPS and phones by reflashing the firmware. The good news is that if you take your phone into your carrier's store, they can reflash it for you right there (if they have a competent tech handy.) If you are comfortable with computers etc, you can also do it yourself. Your computer will communicate with and fix your phone, even though it doesn't seem to recognize it right now - I've seen this many many times. My only warning for you is that if you are going to flash your phone yourself, you need to get the correct firmware from motorola's site for your carrier. I just downloaded the Verizon firmware as an example - Motorola's website has about ten different carrier firmwares for their MotoQ phone. I hope that helps.
