I need help with my wii u game - Video Game Consoles & Games

Unable to read disc. Check with the wii opearations manual. Help with troubleshooting

hi there,
the best and easiest way to upgrade the firmware on your wii is to connect the wii to your internet and look for system update in the system settings and update that way. Altthough most games that need newer firmware come with the update installed on the disc, normally once you insert the disc it will tell you it need to update the system firmware in order for the game to work, so i'm not sure why this is not happening for you if your new games not playing. The only thing i can think of if it's not updating automatically is that the wii has been chipped/modded in some way, has it? If it has'nt just connect the wii to the internet you should be able to update it that way.

Your disc drive will need to be replaced, or you can mod your wii system at www.wiihdmods.com and get 100 wii games playable from a hard drive for 150.00

Maybe the Wii Sports game only works from where it was with the console. The Zelda and the Wii Fit game, not so sure. It could be the game, possibly dusty or something. Try cleaning the disc and see what happens. Hope that helps.

If you are in the middle of a game but besides that nothing on you wii or sd card will be deleted.

I thought I had a similar problem. It helps to read the instructions on how to play the game. You can re-read the instrictions on how to play the game in the help menu by pressing + and following it to the mini games.

What you need to do to start the game is hold the control pointing it to the ground. Press A to start the power gauge and away you go. If your still unsuccessful, you may have another problem.

You need game cube controlers to play the game cube games on the wii. Hope this Helps you.

There is no point offering to help as there is no way of knowing if you downloaded a real game of a fake/corrupt file. You do have a mod chip, right?

No it does not. You can't play European games either for that matter, only Japanese games.
However there is a way around it, though it's a bit complicated and you'll need Zelda Twilight Princess (japanese version in your case) and an SD card.
