well its gone wrong now? 25 degrees "above zero?" wow,,, thats cooking!!!! lets be honest,, its 15 years old? its about time you invested in a new freezer you have had your moneys worth out of this one,, and it will cost you more than its worth to fix it up, it realy is time you treeted yourself,, get a new one!

Sounds like you have a defrost problem. First thing check if you fan motor in the freezer is running. You can open the freezer door and press in the door switch and listen to the fan motor. if fan motor is running, you have a problem in the defrost system. if not, you have a bad door switch or fan motor. (not very common)
to test defrost system: Locate defrost timer (under front kick plate) and rotate slowly until you hear a click.After a few minutes you will start hearing crackling sound and see water flowing down the drain line.
if defrost is working, replace the defrost timer. if not, you either have a bad defrost heater or def. thermostat. best think is to replace both.
