I have an old frame cannot identify serial or model C55829

Not usually possible to ID a bike by serial number alone. Only a few brands have serial number that are unique enough to tell what brand they are, and even if you know the brand the serial number will rarely tell you the model, only the year. If there's no head badge (name plate on front of frame) or model decal then it does not matter at all what brand it is. Value is minimal.

That's an older YORK product. The serial numbers are all coded by the alphabet. York or Luxaire parts house can help you. Probably about a 1980's unit. Hope this helps!

Our furnace is in a metal box and all we have is a serial number and a modal number how can we find out the name brand of our furnace with just this information

Post that info, maybe someone has seen it. Also, look at and/post the other info that's on the name plate, if it has any. Model numbers may look familiar.

Missing nameplate on gas furnace category 1 gas furnace I have serial number or model number need to know who makes this furnace

Call a store that sells gas heaters and ask them.
Since most stores sell only a few models, you may have to call several before you find one that sells that particular brand.
You might also call your local gas company for assistance, they may also know.
God bless your efforts.

Is the serial number J96107 a real serial number? I was told that they only went up to J96096.

As with any hardware, you need to supply a "brand name" or manufacturer and what the "model number" is. Of course, a model number is not a serial number. Even within a brand, each model may have its own set of serial numbers. I suggest you do a google search for "brand serial numbers" replacing the word brand with your specific brand. But here is a short cut that may serve you well:

If you do not know the brand, then try the type of instrument and serial numbers. That may offer you a list of different instrument brands with links to serial numbers associated with them. Here is a result for a search for clarinet serial numbers.

No heat just blows cold air

The furnace may be locked out on a fault, go to the furnace & see if there is a peephole window so you can see if there is a flash code. If so, count the flashes and the model & serial number along with the brand name so we can better stermine what may be going on.

Looking for age of Furnace. Model number appears to be 3010 100n. The serial number appears to be cn3 d108 50972 7055.

Not knowing the Brand, I am taking a educated guess, but it looks like it was made in the 50th week of 1997, 100,000 BTU furnace.
Good luck,
Paul Gibson
