Question about RIM BlackBerry 7290
I was trying out using passwords and messing around with all of the options on a used blackberry i had just gotten from a friend. First time bb user so of course i go and do the dumbest thing i could do right off the bat and enabled information protection or whatever that is called and somehow what i was typing didn't match the password i had just created which slightly confused me. Probably a caps lock issue or something. So of course i just had to type the password wrong ten times and it did the wiping and now is doing the wonderful scrubbing. What i am wondering is if either of these (wiping and scrubbing) erase the sim card memory also or if it just erases all of the internal memory and leaves the external alone. Thanks
No, it only wipes the device memory not the external memory or your sim card card memory.
