WHAT IS THE POSITION OF THE GRIPPER ARM(CALLED GRIPPER ARM THAT GRABS RECORD?)
OVER THE TOP OF THE 50 RECORDS? NEAR THE TURN TABLE?
IS THE OPERATE SWITCH IN PLAY POSITION ? OFF POSITION ?

That depends if you have skp out or a head phone jack .If so the RCA out jack would
have to go to the input of your amp.
or the head phone jack could directley
drive a small set speakers , the 1/4 or 1/8
head phone jack plug wire from a old
pair of head phones would be strip and
wired to small external spk , or driectly
to the auido amp But keep the volume
on the Rock Ola very low if you
chose the latter ,as not to over drive

There are a few things you can try. I've had similar problems like yours and went through the whole tower but it ended up being a currupt drive. You say that it won't power up, but is the fan on and the hard disc spinning. If they are you may find you have a corrupt hard drive.
What I did was remove the hard drive, connected to another pc via a adapter cable and opened it up from my computer. I backed up what i needed and then formatted the drive. Then returned it the tower and rebooted and reinstalled the operating system. It has been running fine ever since.
There are others that will recommend different ways, but to me it was easier and i lost no data and my pc is like a new one.

SOURCE: Have an Acer Aspire 5920-6470
Try remove the battery and unplug it from the AC. Hold down the power button for 35-45secs. plug AC back and see if you can power it back on. If not, the motherboard is shot.
