you for your attempt but it isn't the high input. There's a separate place for that. The pass is still a low level but obviously different from standard low-level.

SOURCE: RCA input suddenly changed to black and white.

Mine is doing the same thing. I have a 2 year old RCA 27" and I was told to do a "hard reset" I am trying it right now. All you have to do is unplug the power cord to the TV for 4 hours. See if that will help.

Yes you need a new Q board most likely, if you audio fails after a while and your other inputs do as well then for sure you need a new Q board. It may be B board but I highly doubt. Atleast with my experiences with the KE-42TS2U.

Hi,
you must go on menu- set input signal and you must choose RGB or video in complex signal (1 or 2), not antenna or RF input. Coax input port is a RF input port. Your problem is only from tv menu ( input seting)

could be a MODE SETTING on sound bar between digital sound input and analogue sound input . Plug into Audio out on tv (RCA out or headphones out) and plug into aux1 port on the back of the sound bar
Using the Input & Vol+ buttons on the front of the Sound bar select the input you connected your

Another conundrum

To check for yourself, get an Ohmmeter and see if the outers of the amplifiers RCAs are connected to the ground or each other. If so then it cannot take speaker signals directly.
I suspect the 'High Level' the manual speaks of are the 4volt auxilliary audio signals that can be found on some newer head units, not speaker signals.
Speaker level signals from a bridge amp CAN be used on grounded RCA inputs if the signal is first passed through a simple decoupler and attenuator.

How do we connect the projector to the pc?

Hook up using the S-Video port, the VGA port, RCA port, or the RS-232 port. The USB port is not used for input on at least some of the Viviteks as per Vivitek Service"The USB port is not in input port. This is used for service only. Please use another input port such as RGB input. Regards, Vivitek Customer Service"

Hope this helps.

Make sure you are using ports other than the USB port. Vivitek Service indicates that at least some of their projectors do not use the USB port for input. "The USB port is not in input port. This is used for service only. Please use another input port such as RGB input. Regards, Vivitek Customer Service

Hope this helps.

Picture is fine but no sound. I tried two different cable boxes and a wii system and no sound on any source. Any ideas?

I am here to help you solve the problem not trying to sell you parts that you may not needed.
Since you said you have no sound on ANY sources, that means it not the HDMI board since there is no such thing as HDMI board, the HDMI ports are on the same input board/or on the main board for all other the inputs as a whole. So you know for sure that the analog audio input RCA jacks (Red and White) do not work either?
If you olny use HDMI ports for all the sources, then you need to check the on screen HDMI audio setup to make sure that you want to have sound through HDMI port also, so you should try to set it to 'auto' in the HDMI sound setup because in HDMI mode you can select analog sound through RCA analog input or digital audio through HDMI port. You also need to verify that if your HDMI ports on your sources are also set to send digital audio through HDMI ports.

Hello ! I'm not sure how to connect my kef psw 2500 sub to my yamaha amp. I've got a subwoofer out on my amp but there's 4 inputs on the sub and I don't no which one to use ! Please help as getting...

Just for clarity, I need to explain what the four inputs are on the KEF subwoofer. There is a left and right RCA input which is the input signal to the subwoofer and there is a left and right RCA output which is the High Pass output from the subwoofer.

On the back of the Yamaha receiver, you said you have a subwoofer output. This output is most likely the mono subwoofer part of the home theater system and can be used if you like. The left right signal input into the KEF is summed into mono so if you only connect one channel you will basically reduce the signal level by 1/2 (-3dB) but it will work fine.

Alternatively, if your Yamaha receiver has monitor out and monitor in, you can run the monitor output signals to the subwoofer and you can then run the high pass outputs from the subwoofer back to the monitor in. This will give you the subwoofer and provide a smoother signal matching with your audio system.

It is not always easy to connect the subwoofer up to an integrated receiver/home cinema system using the high pass channels of the subwoofer as you don't always have access to the analog output and input of the front channels. In this case, just use the Subwoofer output or just the monitor out only.

I hope this solution is helpful.

My klh subwoofer has R&L connections to speaker and R&L connections to amplifier, but my new amp has a RCA cable connection plug-in. Any way I can use the old subwoofer with the new system?

Yes, you use a subwoofer cable and hook it into the mono rca jack in the back of the sub. or you can use a Y splitter 1 female to 2 males. or if your amp has 2 sub outputs (L&R) then use both. I do believe it's said that if you use the high level input, it's better. I forgot why...

Oh yeah. the difference between the 2 is a high level input allows the currant from the amp to pass through the sub, thus allowing the continuation of wattage to your other speakers.
Low level input is only taking a audio signal from the amp. No power is being sen through the connection.

Ipod Connection through RCA Cable

Actually, what I think gbaity is doing is utilizing his IP(Interactive Pioneer)-Bus port in the back of the DEH-P3000, which is an input port designed to allow the deck to use an external multi-disk CD changer. All you need is the CD changer, then change the input source from your deck to "M-CD". There are folks on eBay and other places that sell a cable that pluggs into that very same port. They are designed to allow the unit to accept input through the IP-Bus from an ipod or just about any low-level input that you can pass through the RCA jacks. I have the same deck, and also just purchased an ipod cable for the IP-Bus, and it also does not work. I have been told that I need to switch the "M-CD" input source to "AUX" as the input, but I do not know how to do that. pressing the input source button only displays "CD", "M-CD", and "FM/AM". Does anyone know how to add "AUX" to the choices or otherwise show us how to make these cables work? Thanks - TomR
