Cannot separate two parts of gun and nozzle. How to get them apart?

soak it in wd-40 over night. Twist the DISS connector to work it loose the retract the neck of this DISS connector and pull them apart. Use plyers if you need to. Change the o-ring inside the connector(hardware store can help you) and spray all connections and trigger mechanisms after each use, drain the hose and use pump saver after each use.

Leaking air behind the trigger

If you take the gun apart you will see a small o-ring on the trigger side that needs replacement and possibly the spring on the media adjuster side as well

My Devilbiss EGA-503-390F suction feed spray gun won't spray any materials with a viscosity greater than water. I purchased this gun in March 2010, and it was fine. I have cleaned, chnaged the needle...

The EGA-503 only comes with one set of air cap and Nozzle Size (!). And this is suitable for light and precise touch-up jobs. If you want to spray something heavier, then you would have to change the set-up, i.e. larger nozzle. But for EGA-503 only 390 (air cap) and F (nozzle) are available. Theoretically you could check for the predecessor EGA-502 which had different set-ups, incl. nozzles called "EGA-608-G" and "EGA-608-E". However, they are only limited available and you would have to change needle and air cap too. This makes the whole thing probably too costly.....

We are using an a Campbell Hausfeld Airless Spray Gun and wondering where to buy a new nozzle should it not last for the whole house? We live in South East, SA

the nozzle should last as long as it is cleaned properly when the day is finished. Walmart sells Campbell equipment and/or many hardware stores do as well, the tip may not need to be specifc to your brand to fit, take the tip with you when go shopping. Also, check with your Cities maintenance department and find out where they buy there tools and parts, most likely you will find the parts you need there.

Does not give a continous high pressure flow cuts in and out

that is sure signal of insufficient water supply!

try easy solution first:
make sure that your mains is fully open, that tap on whihc hose is hook up is fully open and hose is of "decent" diameter to allow sufficient flow.

if above solution do not work then you need to make another, more difficult arrangement:
prepare 20litres pressure tank with inlet connected to mains and outlet by short hose to power washer, fill it with water from mains, keep it under mains pressure and use karcher power washer normaly. this will solve water supply problem. twenty litres will last about 2min, because it is re-filled, under standard pressure therefore it will last about 3min...

third possibility is to stop washing...

if you find my advice helpfull, please do not hesitate to left the comment and vote for me, thanx!

Titan spray gun issue

the fitting on the gun is bad or the wrong one. get a new one with the right threads for the gun end and the corrisponding fitting for the hose end. gun may be npt thread and hose might be jic thread.
chances are home depo has the correct fitting.

The reason it stops spraying might be a clogged gun, hose or nozzle-tip.
The reason for pressure buildup killing the engine might be a stuck unloader valve in the pump.

While you are checking each component of the "output" side, spray some penetrating lube into the "input" side of the pump (where the garden hose connects) and let it be working on the unloader valve.

Fix the spraying problem first:
Start at the nozzle and verify that it is open by using low-pressure air. Clean or replace as needed. Next check the hose (with nozzle and gun unhooked) and finally the gun/trigger mechanism.
All must be clear and open to perform correctly.

Next, pour a few ounces of power steering fluid (or similarly LIGHT oil) into the garden hose, attach it to the pump and turn on the water supply.

Leave the "output" hose, gun, etc. UNHOOKED and point the output port of the pump (where the high-pressure hose connects) towards a vacant, safe area.
Startup the engine and allow the oil in the garden hose to work its way thru. (About 1 -3 minutes of run-time.) Shut it down and attach the high-pressure hose.
Hope this solves the problem!

Have honda karcher 5.0 pressure washer and i cant get it to spray any water or pressure out the gun at all? Why??

That is a on going problem with power washers the pump not working, than works sporadically. the main cause is leaving the pressure hose hooked up to the machine over a long period of ,not draining hose & machine, in the winter time the hose & pump willfreeze causing hose & pump to expand and burst. build up of calcium deposits from hard water clogging up pump nozzle, valves in the gun handle, clogging hose fittings and of these has to be your can find a parts brake down at KARCHER.COM.orRJ BOWERS.COM . and manuals, these are good info, sites, hope this helps, MrFixIt,oh could you please rate this solutions

If it is not leaking water anywhere and the nozzle is OK then go HERE
Turn it off and shut the water of. Go to pate 2.1 of the manual
Carefully remove part #2. Pull out part # 1 and make sure the O-rings are in good shape ad are lubricated with a good waterproof grease. Re-assemble and try it.

Thanks for contacting Fixya

Water shoots out back instead of hose when engine is started

Problem description is very vague. The only thing for sure is that water seems to be coming out at the wrong place. Common problem could be related to improper storage. All water, or as much as possible, should be removed from the pump before cold weather storage. Many pumps are made from cast aluminum, which can easily crack or split from winter storage if enough water remained in the system during freezing weather. If it is an external part, such as the inlet or outlet tube, check the manufacturer for a replacement part, since these are sometimes replaceable. Another possibility could be a loose fitting on the pump. There is also an "O" ring on the connection to the outlet tube on the hose end. Check to make sure it is still there and not broken or crushed. Many hardware stores have "O" ring kits. It would be helpfull if you could pinpoint the source of the leak. Always separate the gun and hose from the pressure washer to drain out any remaining water. Freezing isn't the only problem since you could have hard water that will leave mineral deposits when the water evaporates. This, according to some manufacturers will not be covered by the warrantee so I guess is should be something to avoid. Good Luck.
