Typically red is power green is fan yellow is cool white is heat. Those four should make it work if it has batteries.

SOURCE: Wiring diagram needed RV rooftop coleman

Motor1258,
Thanks for the response, to be more specific, the nine pin connector was damaged, but I was able to connect the wires back to main unit panel. I am ready to hook to the hunter thermostat and do not know which wires to connect to. This is my problem and I do not want to short something out. Hope this helps, I want to get it installed again. Thanks again for caring....Jerry

SOURCE: Wiring Diagram for Ruud Heat Pump

Unfortunately, the wiring diagrams for heat pumps are not so easy to come up with. The outdoor unit will have its own diagram, but may not include the indoor air handler and will probably not include the thermostat. That said, the orange wire is commonly run from the thermostat to the reversing valve in the outdoor unit. This wire is usually not connected to the indoor airhandler. The orange wire is usually used in a unit that has the reversing valve energized in cool. Ruud, however has its reversing valve energized in heat. Probably not useful but maybe helpful

SOURCE: I have a DuoTherm BriskAIr 13.5K BTU. The Dometic

If you look at control box at roof unit, they usually use a separate set of wires for furnace. See what colors they are attached to at harness to thermostat. Some just follow other harness, and come out at thermostat. (bypass control box) Once you've determined which 2 they are, join them together & see if furnace starts, as it should. If it does, thermostat is faulty. If not, pull outside cover off & check voltages at furnace. I'm guessing by furnace model that your unit is approx 30 ft , but if it's a park model, you may have 24 volt system on furnace or 12 volt. Another way of confirming is to go to back of furnace where air intake grille is inside your unit, and locate 2 blue wires going to furnace & remove whatever wires are attached to them & connect them together. Furnace should start up.

It shows your model above. This is the only way to get a diagram for this unit. Please keep me posted on the out come or if you need more help.

SOURCE: looking for wiring diagram for a duo therm by

There are several models out there. Here are a couple of manuals with wiring diagrams that I believe will help you regardless of the model number. However, if they are unable to help you, let me know the exact model number and we'll search for the wiring diagram. :-)

Hi,
When you spliced the wires you shorted out the low voltage side of the system..
Now the fuse blew on the circuit board of the furnace or air handler if you are lucky enough to have a fuse in there...
If there is no fuse then the transformer is blown and will need to be replaced...

Maybe try calling Grainger or they might have a website online. Have you googled the brand of your thermostat? Often PDFs pop up with manuals.

I have no voltage to my thermostat

Possible transformer problem or a broken wire between the thermostat and the a/c

You will need an electric meter to check for voltage at the transformer One side should be the power feed and the opposite side should feed the 24 volts, or 12 volts depending on type of unit.

I suspect that there is a break in the thermostat wire to the unit. You can test this by getting enough wire for the thermostat and go to the board on the roof top unit where the thermostat wire connect and connect the wires that you have to the existing board i.e. red to red green to green and so on. once you have connected these wires to the proper screws then take a new thermostat and connect the wires to the new thermostat and activate this should tell you if there is a break in the wiring or possible transformer problem but as I said I think its a break in the wiring
