If the fuse show any sign of being charred, you have a serious problem. If the fuse was open, then there is a chance a fix is near. You did not specify a brand of TV or how old this TV is. I would guess by the nature of the power indicator you described. You have two bad capacitor in the power supply. Please find these and replace. It may be as simple as explained. Thanks for asking and show all hands of support!

Posible problem of your tv is the power supply and it is very difficult to fix. You can contact a technician or you can replace the whole power supply. Good day and best regards.

That is a tricky question, lightning can cause minor to severe damage. If the TV is completely dead, the power supply board will be the first order of things to check, if fuse is open chances are there will be damaged parts and open foil. If fuse blows, board replacement would be the next step, however the risk is will it work, lightning may take 1to 3 boards for example and the unfortuneate thing is you must sub boards until it works.

tried to reset the tv first, if struck by lightning the tuner will be damaged or the main board but since the tv is still working so i think not the lightning was the main cause.
