Will not accelerate past 25 mph

If O2 sensor the car will jump while accelerating. Could be that it is the catalytic convertor. Could be an issue with fuel filter, though unlikely. If its jumpy at 20-25 then I would agree with you.

I began using quaker state higher mileage motor oil in my corolla . the garage says it will go 5000 miles between oil changes. do you agree?

Yes I agree. 5000 miles between oil changes is very common. But don't go past that. Todays oils are much more refined than the old 10w30 I used back in the 1970's and 80's.
Good luck and thanks for your question and I hope my suggestions help. burdfrenzy

Charge it overnight on the wall charger --- this helps - then if nothing - - reset -
turn the unit on and press your thumb in the lower right corner - then select YES on the next screen - reboot if fully charged and off you go.

When turning on, the device will not go past the safety agreement screen

sometimes, the agreement screens will not go away until you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, then the I agree or similar button highlights and you can continue on.
