This is not the Turbothermic type with the vent in the door that I have seen elsewhere. The fan is located under the RHS panel. I cannot work out how to remove the fan unit. I think it clips in place but I cannot find any release tabs. Anybody done this?

Hi all,
I have had the same problem. Here is what I've done. Take the door apart (a whole bunch of screws on the side of the door). The front panel will come off and you will see a rubber tube. Take it off and blow it out. Then take the blower out (you need to unscrew the inside of the blower). Take apart the blower and clean it out.
Good luck.

I found this elsewhere on the net. Seemed to work for me. You need 2 pairs of hands though 1 to hold things together the other to work the screw driver. Thanks to Peter.
I had the same problem on my Miele Dishwasher. Basically the outlet built into the door gets gummed up. You can access it by undoing the screws around the edge of the inside of the door. This will allow you to release the front door cover from the inner stainless steel cover and there will be the tubes etc. for the front vent. Take them off and you will find them blocked with gunge. Give them a jolly good clean so it allows the condensation to drain back into the machine . You will also find the fan in there as well. Clean all around that as well if it's dirty. Put it all back together and no more gurgling or water on the floor when the doors opened. Hope this helps.

you need to remove the front of the door.there is a small pipe from the dryer fan to the top of the detergent dispenser. tis usualy gets blocked at the fan end. also the spout from the fan. this happens if you dont rinse loose food of the items you put in the dishwasher.

you want the replacement to be white as well? Check out ApplianceArt.com, they have over 200 different panel options including stainless steel, black, and white.

I had this happen too. There is a rubber venting tube which runs from the vent on the door to the rinse/powder release pods. This clogs up and the water then comes out when the door opens. If you take off the front panel of the machine (screws are on the sides) it is easy to take off and clean out by running hot water through it, also clean out the line through the release pods .. problem should be solved.
