You could have a bad circuit breaker button. Replace that and see what happens.

My Dell W3707C LCD TV won't quit flipping. The only button that works is the power button. I can hold the channel button down and flipping stops for about 2 minutes and then it starts flipping a

one of two basic things here, unplug set to see if after a while it helps, and if channel scanning up or down on its own suspect the button associated with the direction it changes is a bad one.

Oh my god my iphone just quit working! black screen of death, but the home button and top button are not resesting it what to do!

OMG It's the end of the world.

Hold the Power Button and the Home Button for 15 seconds, the screen should turn off. If that doesn't work, connect it to your iTunes, hole the Home & Power Button for 10 Seconds, then release the Power Button, wait till it enters DFU Mode, you should be fine.

Quit working needs to be reset lost instructions

First of all I'm not sure what you mean when you say Generic Problem. You were asked before what Quit working? This solution is for PC's. Whenever a PC quit working at work I check all the attached cables and make sure theere isn't a Floppy or Disc in the computer. After that if the screen shows no error code than I'll press the power button and hold it for 30 seconds until it powers off. When its off I'll unplug the power cord, wait 30 seconds and plug it back it. This will usually reset the machine. You really didn't give enough information. When you say QUIT WORKING what do you mean by Working?

Compaq presario v5000 won't start or post

It's the motherboard. Check to see if yours is still under warranty even if you've had it for over a year.

HP / Compaq has recently extended their warranty period for certain models.

Emachine t5026 not power on. replaced psu.

I would test the memory. Also I think some computers will shut down if the fan on top of the CPU quits working. Or maybe one of the other fans or the Hard Drive quit and is drawing too much juice causing the PSU to shut down. It sounds like something may be grounding.

AVR-485 Quit working

I just bought this machine...and had earlier seen your post. I was looking at the "microprocessor re-initialization" part and thought, hey, it may be worth a try for you.

So, consider re-initializing (resetting) the machine. This can be done by:

1) Turn off the unit using the *main* power switch
2) While holding both Speaker A and B button, turn on the machine using the *main* power switch
3) You should see the main display flash at 1 sec intervals. Let go of the speaker buttons to finish.

Hope it helps,

Eddie V.
