SOURCE: Intertherm E1EH-015HA FURNACE no heat

Sounds like a downflow electric furnace? If so it sounds like you have 15kw worth of electric heat, you might have a defective heating sequencer, witch is what they call a dual on one plate.

SOURCE: Ruud furnace won't stay lit.

Hi, welcome to Fixya. If you have spark ignition turn off the power and using sand cloth clean the rod(s) and hood of the spark ignition. If it is a Hot Surface Igniter (glow coil) look on the opposite end of the burners and you will see a rod protruding in to the flame. It's called a flame sensor. Clean it with the sanding cloth. If either of these works then you bought some time but should consider replacing the part fairly soon. Please report back to let us know your progress. Good luck.

My electric coleman furnace will not run.

Depress the interlock switch manually as the furnace is starting up. That should give you your answer. Some furnaces (mine) rely on a friction fit of the cover panel to close the switch. Over time, the friction fit stops fitting.

My furnace wont turn off

Well Linda, is it the heat portion will not shut off or just the fan in the furnace that continues to run?? If the heat won't shut off, it will get uncomfortably HOT in your house, if its just the fan.....well, its just the fan.

More than likely its just the fan and it is running continually due to a stuck set of contacts in the control board or in the fan control board, if so equipped. If it is a furnace that is older than 15 to 20 years, it could be a mechanical relay that controls the fan directly off another control in the furnace vestibule that senses heat in the heat exchanger. If its an electric furnace, the first stage heat sequencer could be stuck closed causing continual fan operation and possibly one heat element is also energized. There are also several additional issues that could be the cause.

At any rate, its time to contact a reputable service entity to correct your problem. Good luck, Linda.

Nordyne FEH-017HA-04 furnace fan is running full speed on ac but not on furnace

Multiple speed fans are always wired to run on "HI" for A/C and a lower speed for heat. If there are more than 3 wires on the fan motor, its probably a multiple speed.

Blower stays on after heat goes off

when the room thermostat is satisfied it stops the heat by stopping power to the sequencer or contactor which is in series with the heating element/s...the TEMPERATURE OPERATED FAN SWITCH then takes over the blower until the heaters cool

Blower will not come on

could be the fan relay is bad. or the run capacitor. if these check good. you may have a bad heat sequencer. hard to tell, if you thave a/c you can turn thermostat fan swith to on and if blower comes on then relay and capacitor should be ok. some units have two or three heat sequencers 1 controls fan and the others control heat strips hopefully this helps good luck
