SOURCE: I got a frister rossman 700 sewing machine Needle thread boby thing ok But as im sewing its got loose stiching at the back front looks well sewed But due to not tight at the back it will open up

If it is the upper thread creating loops on the back of the fabric, either the upper thread is not seated completely in the tension disk or the tension is too loose. When re-threading, ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot so the thread will seat completely.

How to use a Waltons Celestial 516 sewing machine?

I conducted a rather through search with Google, Bing, and Yahoo and did not find a free users manual for this machine. The links below are 1) for a contributor who possessed such a machine and 2) for a company that claims to be able to sell you a manual to a machine which your machine is "rebadged" from. That is, the machine was sold under several brand names.

FixIt contributor Andrew Rose in 2013 indicated this machine was a rebadged Frister and Rossman 64 or 66. I found only links to sites purportedly selling manuals for these models and can not easily evaluate if the sites are legitimate or scams. Andrew Rose actually indicated he had the very machine you mention as well as a manual. But Andrew only made 4 postings and may not be available to contact. http://www.fixya.com/users/arose62

That said, here is a link which offers a F and R manual for sale and shows a picture of the Frister and Rossman 64. http://sewingonline.co.uk/frister+rossmann.html

Why do my top thread keep breaking

Basic Tips for All
  1. Always turn the handwheel TOWARDS you (counter clockwise) as turning it in the opposite direction (away from you, clockwise) may knock the timing out requiring repair from a service center.
  2. Always be sure your presser foot is in the DOWN position before sewing. Sewing with the presser foot in the up position will cause your thread to tangle and your bobbin to jam.
  3. Change needles regularly (after 16 hours of use) as dull/weak needles can cause damage to your machine and fabric. Only use SINGER needles on your SINGER sewing machine.
  4. Always be sure you are using the correct bobbin for your machine. Class 66, Class 15 and Class 15J bobbins look very similar. However, using the incorrect bobbin class in your machine can cause damage.

Frister Star bobbin/threading problem

First of all make sure you have the needle in the correct way round, when you thread the machine make sure the presser foot is up so the thread goes between the tension discs, top tension about 4 or 5, make sure you can pull the bobbin thread through with slight resistence and the bobbin should turn anti clockwise in the bobbin case as you look at the open part.

My sewing machine keeps getting jammed when sewing. the top stitch keeps getting tangled in with the bobbin thread and jamming up the machine.

Hello,
Here are a couple of things to try.

* Un-thread your machine and remove your bobbin. Clean any loose thread or lint out of your
bobbin case. Re-thread your machine, reinsert and re-thread your bobbin.

* Change your bobbin
There could be a nick along the edge of your bobbin spool that’s catching your thread as you
sew.

* When you start to sew a seam, grasp the upper and bobbin thread tails. Hold them back
and out of the way as you sew your first couple of stitches. This will keep them from getting
caught in your machine.

I hope this helps.
