SOURCE: blue ray player wont play blue ray ''Kung Fu Panda'' disc.

i fixed this exactly as previous posted solutions, however a couple of points.
a) recordable CDs work if you don't have a DVD burner.
b) I didn't have a CD burner that would do an "image burn", I downloaded a free copy of "Express Burn" and that worked fine. The disk needs to be "finalised" or "fixated", it should do this automatically, or it may be a tick box selection.
c) I got a "No DWLD 09" when I put the disk into the player. I found this was an incompatibility with the CD-R (Maxwell) I was using. I changed to JVC and it worked fine.

SOURCE: Letter box picture when viewing blue ray discs on Sony BR player

All blu-ray movies are in Widescreen format. So your tv converts the picture to make it look like letterbox. There will be some movies that will have those little black bars at the bottom. There will be some movies that don't. There is nothing to worry about it is normall.

Hope this helps

SOURCE: i have a bdp-100 blue ray drive out of a bdp-300

No. Sorry that was so blunt, but here's why.

The DVD units actually have the decoding componants built into the blu-ray units and not into the drive itself. You need the decoding to be able to translate the blu-ray disk to what a PC can understand.

There are inexpensive $80 blu-ray drives available for the PC. Not the best quality, but they work.

WIRELESS USB NOT WORKING

Not all adapters work with all equipment. If you don't have a Sony adapter, go to Amazon and look for WiFi USB adapters, and, if you get lucky, you might find one that works with your Sony equipment. That's how I found a $15 one to work with my Onkyo AV Receiver. But, if you have a Sony adapter, they upgrading the firmware (Sony web site).

I have Sony Bravia KDL-46HX800 3D TV. My Ethernet connection stopped working. I can't get IP, my Sony blueray player doesn't have such problem (it is connected to the same net. switch). TV say

use a straight thru to connect directly to the router. Cross overs are typically used when connecting PC's directly together or daisy chaning routers or switches. Try a different port on the switch? Also from a pc, go to the DOS prompt and try and ping your TV. If your TV IP settings are all correct, and your network equipment is working, your should get a response from pinging your TV. If you don't, I would suspect a problem with your TV Enet port.

I tried to connect player to my wi-fi with the adapter that came with my wi-fi package. Player does not recognize it as being connected. Do I have to have a specific wi-fi adapter?

Hello

You must have a wifi adapter ready LCD tv,if you have got this and the player still does not recognize the adapter then i guess your adapter is faulty and you should have it replaced..

Your player uses WiFi adapter WLM-10UB1. Which is the same one that can be purchased on the TOSHIBA website http://toshibadirect.com . This adapter works in several of the Toshiba models.

The optional Toshiba WLM-10UB1 Wi-Fi adapter retail price is $49.99, mail order around $41. 2.

I have a Samsung Blu Ray player with the option of NetFlix/Pandora/blockbuster and I'm trying to setup my player to recognize my wireless router. How do I set it up??

Take a look at your bluray player make sure that it is wifi built in not wifi ready. If it is wifi ready you will need to get wireless adapter for the bluray. A common thing is for people to mistake wifi ready, that it is ready to connect to there wifi but it means that it is ready to connect to wifi with adapter :/ hope this helps :)
