How to set alarm on oots MAI TAI RY2142 Watch for Women?

Start by holding in the mode button (bottom left) until the first number blinks, then let go. You are actually in the alarm mode right now. Now press and release the start/stop button (top right) and the minutes will flash, again for hours. When the parameter you want to adjust is flashing just press the adjust button (top left) to change the numbers. When your finished simply press the mode button to exit the setting menu. To turn the alarm and/or the hourly chime on or off, hold in the adjust button (top left) and press the start/stop (top right). Each time you press the start/stop (top right) the CH or AL or both symbols. When the symbol is showing, that function is on.

I need to adjust Timex 1440 sports watch. could you help me please. I have top left as mode, top right start/stop,bottom left indiglo and bottom right is set. Thank you jyo

Go to the time mode, hold down the set button, it may take a couple of seconds and it will start blinking , then go to your mode button to move from seconds to hour to min etc.etc,etc. It probibly is your start/stop button for chaning the numbers. If that dosn't work, hold down the mode button on the time mode for a few seconds, and go from there.

Solution #2 by Guest, posted on May 13, 2008 solved my problem. OUTSTANDING solution #2!

1. Hold in the MODE button until the alarm time appears.

2. VERY IMPORTANT - release and TAP the MODE button AGAIN, and the time should appear with the seconds flashing.

3. Use StART/Stop to choose among seconds, hours, and minutes, and

4. Use ADJUST to increase the selected number

5. Press MODE to put the thing back in regular operational mode.

After several attempts with other directions over the last four months, these 5 steps WORKED.

Can't reset the time on digital watch

Hi,
I found the solution at http://www.watchliquidators.com/fossildir/Nike.asp

Hold down the button at the top left (the light) for about 4 seconds. The second part of the time will start blinking. I tried this before, I'm sure, but I must not have noticed the blinking and thought nothing was happening.
Once the seconds numbers are blinking, push the top right button (Start/Stop) to move to the hour or minute. Push the bottom right button (Lap/Reset) to change the time. When you're done, push the top left button (Light) again.
