Schematics of the asus k52n mother board

There is no schematics available unless you have access to the internal asus-sites. These are only for Asus-techs. Describe your problem, I can troubleshoot the issue.

Good day i have mother board asus p5800-mx the usb port cannot work theirs no 5 volts in the port, pleas help me to resolve my problem thanks.

Ashley,

A) There are two USB headers on the motherboard.
They are rectangular in shape, and Blue in color.

One is to the immediate Right of the 3 white PCI slots.
Has 4 pins across the Top row, and 5 pins across the Bottom row.
May have USB56 printed on the motherboard next to it.

The second one is at the Bottom of the motherboard, below the Intel 82801EB southbridge chip; which is to the left of the CMOS battery.
May have USB78 printed next to it

(Turn motherboard photo 90 degrees to the Left, to be as it sits in your computer case)

EACH USB header supports TWO USB ports.

A Card Reader uses ONE USB header, with it's two cables.

Point?
Front Panel USB ports, are connected to one of those blue USB headers.
This USB header you know to be bad.
If the other USB header is not being used, connect to it.

The front of your computer is the Front Panel.
The USB ports in the Front Panel, should be connected by one common cable, and it ends in a plug on connector.

No? Not feasible?
Then suggest using a USB adapter card, in an open white PCI slot,

Product details indicate it has two internal USB headers.
This way you can connect the Front Panel USB ports to it.

My ASUS P5N7A-VM Motherboard doesn't show a cd-rom in bios it shows my hard drives and an A: which I don't even have so what do I do?

Your not giving enough info..
Have you replaced the motherboard ?
Are you useing one or two IDE cables. ?
If you are useing one cable, the hard drive should be set to master and the cd dvd drive should be set to slave.
If two cables are used, set the Hard drive to master and the other drive two slave or cable select.

Need SPDIF pinouts identified.

When looking at the board, bottom towards you assuming that the 3 pins are parallel to the pci/e slots, the left pin should be the +5V vcc the middle pin is the spdif out and the right pin is the ground. Also the 3 pins are probably not exactly the same distance from each other (equally spaced) the 2 pins that are closest together are the spdif and the ground, spdif is always the middle pin. This info is based on 2 different asus motherboard install guides. I hope this helps you.
