My aged pension payment has not been put into my bank today, what should i do as i have not long been on the pension and unsure where to go

Next aged pension payment

Since you did not state the country in which you reside (I'm in the USA and we don't use the phrase "aged pension"), I am guessing you are an Australian citizen, as I have found the term "age pension" on web pages for the Australian Government Department of Human Services.

I did find a brief reference to payments every fortnight (every 2 weeks.) However, to be sure, I recommend you contact the Austrialian Government Department of Human Services and ask your question. I didn't get my disability pension paid into my bank this week

public holidays or computer glitch a
pension center or you own bank can cause this

have to ring up .the place that gives you the pension payment ..24/7 number or during office hours number first

then wait for the answer you require

Can I view my centrelink account to see credits and debits please.

Go to MyGov and set up your centrelink account there. It is the latest idea from our government. (use your customer number and add a password) Write down your password and put it where you can get it easily if you forget. (Under a magnet on the fridge, or on a filing cabinet).
Go to Humanresources and click on Centrelink. Log in and check your payments for 2014 - 2015. They should be there. Also, you should be receiving Centrelink online letters to let you know of any changes. You can also check by logging into your bank account. Set up a username and password with your bank online.

You will have to visit the new bank in person to set up a new account. Once this is done, the bank officer will guide you through the paperwork to transfer your pension account. Remember you will need photo identification and official government documentation of multiple types to bring with you to open the new account. This is not something that can be accomplished online or over the phone and this is to protect you against fraud. Moreover, your pension cannot be transferred to an existing account in another bank without you personally appearing and providing the above mentioned documentation and for the same reason: your financial security.
