Organizing Photos doesn't work

I have numerous photos that appear in the All file & also the sub folder"Your Own Art" I have created other sub folders. When I try to move the photos into the sub folders, they disappear from "All" or "Your Own Art" but do not appear in the appropriate sub folder. It seems that they just get a new name and reappear at the end of both the "All" folder and the "Your Own Art" folder. How do I remedy this, or can it be remedied?
