The typewriter is set in P.S. mode instead of 10 or 12. This switch is in lower left corner of keyboard.

SOURCE: Letters on the keybords are all wrong

Hi. Do you mean "wrong position" like pressing letter "J" produce a different letter or produce a number? Is it consistent like pressing letter "J" always produce the same wrong letter or number or is it randomly producing different letters every time you pressed the same key?

Olympia Startype 3 occasionally types double vertical line and spacing is changing between letters

Check the printwheel for any broken or bent spokes. vertical lines means the wheel is between letters so either a problem with printwheel or something preventing wheel from turning normally.

Capital R and lower case r occasionally type 2 slashes instead of the letter.

Check the printwheel for broken or damaged spokes. It probably needs replaced. The lines are the face of the hammer.

When I type some of the letters are appearing with double lines. what is wrong?

Hi;

If you are getting to small vertical lines instead of the character then the printwheel might be bad. All the spokes on the printwheel should be evenly spaced and not bent or deformed.
