Question about Televison & Video
You have a scratch on the DVD if it is just one DVD. Polish it with Chrome cleaner.
If it is every DVD, you optics might need cleaning. You can buy optic cleaning discs.
If that doesn't fix it, you need to replace the player or have it serviced.
