SOURCE: toshiba 42HP66, HDMI problems

Your Cable box might need to be reprogrammed. Call the cable company and they will drive you thru the steps to program it, this way you will get the channels. This process might take you 30-45 minutes.

SOURCE: Getting the TV to play through the HDMI cord

First, you need to set the playstation to display on HDMI out.

Plug the HDMI cable into the TV and into the PS3.

Use the PS3 to setup the video settings to 720p which every HDTV can display. Then switch the TV-out to HDMI and it should display.

Also consult your televisions manual to set it up for HDMI input as well. Make sure that the TV allows sound through the HDMI port as some older HDTV's didn't have that ability.

If you still have a problem; please let me know! I hope it helps you out

Hello, the DVD play fine but tv mode, continually says no signal and screen is blue. Please help

You either have the DVD player plugged into the wrong input on the TV or the TV not set to that input. If using HDMI change the HDMI cord to another HDMI port on the the TV. In an Extreme case you have a bad connecting cord (either HDMI or other type.)

Toshiba 19hlv87 blinking

It is going on protection mode. Change the power outlet to some other that works. Try changing the input device to something that works. If it does not work, try switching off the TV manually, remove the plug after switching off the power outlet, wait for 48 hours and retry. If it does not work even then, this may need attention by a qualified service technician.

How to connect my ps3 to toshiba 19hlv87?

You would have to use the HDMI input with the PS3 to your TV, or if composite cables are available with the PS3, you can hook them to the composite inputs on the back.

We are installing our new Toshiba flat screen TV. We have a DSTV PVR decoder. We get "no signal". What should we do?

Make sure you are on the correct input on the TV, I.e select Scart if you are using a scart lead and HDMI if your using a HDMI lead. If you have confirmed this to be corrct then you may have a defective cable or worse case senario a faulty port on the tv depending on the cable you are using.
