you didn hook up the hot at all times wire, or memory wire, its usually yellow on aftermarket stereos and goes to the batt. a way to find that wire is to pull the stereo, leave everything off, and check wires for voltage. once you find one with volts when key is off, just hook the wire up

Where do you connect the memory wire on a jvc kd g110 car stero.....what color is the memory wire ?? what does hook red wire to acc fuse mean??? what wire does the red wire on the radio connect to on...

The yellow wire is most likely the memory wire as it needs to be connected to a constant 12 volt source.

"Hook red wire to to acc fuse" means you need to hook into the fuse block under an Accessory Fuse. (ie: something that can't be turned on unless the car is running or the key is in the "Accessory" position)

The red wire is explained above. It does not connect to the harness.

Just remember that the yellow wire needs to be hooked to a constant 12 volts and the red needs to be hooked to a circuit that is only active when the car is running or switched to the "ACC" position.

I have an after market pioneer car stereo and not sure how to hook the red, yellow and blue with the stripe, to the wire harness with orange lummination and orange dimmer negative, yellow batt. and blue i...

red is usually ignition switched power from the fuse box and the yellow is continuous power to the deck. blue with the stripe is usually a voltage output from the deck to control the on/off of an external amplifier. If you hook the deck up and the memory stations do not save after vehicle on/off cycle of the ignition swap the yellow and the red wire and they should work. One is power all the time to allow the deck to store memory and the other is the main power to the unit.

You need to hook up the yellow wire from JVC to the yellow/green wire in car(12+ constant memory) and the red wire from JVC to purple from car(switched 12+ volt accessory)

Hope this gets you tuned in!

As long as you have connected the ground(black) try adding one wire at a time to the live(red). If possible try connection each wire one at a time to the power line and then both together. If nothing has blown(fuses) and the unit starts working then you can try by trial & error method the remaining wires. You should be able to figure out which wire is required and if there are any extra wires like cellular phone(mute) and then decide whether to connect them or keep them open.....sodeep

it sound like the memory wire is hook up wrong, check the yellow wire first then the red wire if still the same problem, connect the red and the yellow wire together to see if it come on it should come on you might have to run a hot wire from the battery in the dash then hook the yellow wire to it so your memory stays on
