You'll need to reset phone. Turn off your phone. Hold Volume Down + Power + Camera until phone vibrates and NOKIA logo appears, then release Power button but continue to hold Volume Down + Camera until boot completes. Your Lumia 610 has been hard reset. All data will be lost! On the Start screen, tap . Tap Settings > about phone. Tap reset your phone, and then tap yes.

I paid my bill online but my phone has been turned off?


You will need to contact the phone company/carrier about this issue. We are not equipped to handle such problems. However, remember that even online payments have cutoff hours for acceptance of payments, and even then, some companies can take 2 or 3 days to post online payments depending on day/date paid. If you were facing a cutoff deadline and paid on the very last day, it may have been too late to avoid the shutoff unless you had called customer service and paid thru a representative. They can often accept payments late and abort shutoff orders.

My service is shut off...I have a confirmation #544882848 proving payment...turn my service on.410-999-7813. This is no way to encourage people to trust you.


Well, Janet, it is all well and good that you can prove payment. What you can't seem to prove is that you know whom you are paying. Because if you are coming here expecting a resolution to this issue, you are mistaken. We are a volunteer, non-paid, repair advice site. We are not the customer service department for anyone other than ourselves. If you having an issue with your cellular carrier, then contact them with the issue. Otherwise you will be waiting for an answer that will never come. And at the same time, since you found yourself here thinking you were at you cellular carrier's site, you may want to investigate where you paid, as it may not be the right place either.....

Ah, ex girlfriends are excellent aren't they? How do you pay the account? Is it on a bank card or straight from your bank account?
If paid by card, simply tell the bank you've damaged your card and ask for a replacement. It will have a new number and make the old one on the account useless.
If paid direct from your bank account, go to the bank and cancel the payment. If she wants to keep using the phone, she'll have to start paying for it!

Why do you say this is a free service then ask for payment

There are couple sources of having no service/signal on your phone:
Source 1: You havn't paid the monthly payment of your phone, the phone company cut your line.
Solution 1: Pay the payment, and call your phone company to reconnect your service supports.
Source 2: You are now living in a village, desert or mountain those low-signal/service area.
Solution 2: Buy a launcher to increase the intensity of your phone signal/service connection.
Source 3: It has been a long time that your phone is being closen.
Solution 3: Take out the phone battery, blow it with light wind and put it inside again to the phone.
Source 4: The phone SIM card remains overdue or overage or not voild. (Usually with a caution on the phone screen as well)
Solution 4: Change the other SIM card.

These are the solutions. After all, i am just a student, i can't be sure can the solution works. Just a
little commands.
