the filter is located right after you open the drain cover on the bottom of the washer it's a hard plastic filter, if it is not clogged with any debris, then it sounds like your pump motor is bad, maybe need to replace it. lg's are very sensitive........., find out the part number and search it through google. if not email me and i could set sumthin up for you.

I would believe that the water pump has given out. If it is going thru the spin cycle after you drain the tub of water it is almost certainly the pump.

It is a computer problem. My daughters machine did the same thing and the company came out and replaced the computer board and it fixed the problem.

Hi, I got a samsung WA85B5 washing machine running for nine years already, but last week the electronic mulfunction in such a way that when the power plug is turn on, the electronic turned on automatically without pressing the 'power' button and non of the button on the panel works. I installed a new circuit board today but ends up a different problem. After I plug in the power I press the 'power' button and the LEDs light up, all the other buttons function properly ( delay timer, water level, function,course) except the 'start' button. After setting everything it refuse to start. Please help. Thanks in advance. Yip

I looked up your model number. You particular machine allows for wash with the lid open. You nothing happens. On that case I would check the motor capacitor.
