Question about Philips Magnavox MS3652S 36" TV
The caption on my TV will not turn off and it's not from the TV, so the only other place it could be coming from would be the cable box. The power went out last night and when it came back on, the caption was on and I checked the TV, it was off. I don't know how to turn it off, so if anyone has a solution, I would be greatful!!
If you are sure the caption is off on the TV then call the cable provider and they will walk you through resetting the set top box. Good Luck

Not all TV programs and product
commercials are made with
Closed Caption (CC) information
included. Neither are all Closed
Caption modes (CC1, or CC2) necessarily
being used during the transmission
of a closed caption program.
Refer to your area's TV program listings
for the stations and times of
Closed Caption shows.
To close the close caption display from screen; press "CC" button on the remote control.
