Question about Televison & Video

Open Question

Our tv changed from English to Spanish for sports programming - without our "permission". Could this be a glitch in the set? We can't figure how to turn of the Spanish language.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Language is in Spanish and we want it in English

Hiya I had the same problem, my son didn't give me chance to do anything on christmas and managed to set the language in Spanish!! I tried everything! I don't know if you have the same Omnitrix, but where the green button is just under the screen, there is a little hole there to the right of it, with a reset button in, i just poked it with a pencil and the list of languages came up! Hope this helped! Paula

SOURCE: changing htc s620 language from spanish to english

Alright... I am going to do my best here to provide non-language navigation.

If the screen is locked you will get:
Little response to buttons (Except Left Soft-Key, used with Z or * to unlock)
Just a clock on the screen with words above and below
Grey/dark screen brightness.

Providing the screen is unlocked:

Left Soft-Key (White bar above House)
2nd row last icon (Folder with gear)
7 Key
5 Key
Center Navigation button.
Select Language.
Left Soft-Key

These instructions should blindly take you to the language selection for languages that your ROM supports.

For other languages, a ROM Flash would be required, which is nearing outside of the scope of this site.

Please let me know if their are any other questions. If this information was helpful, please take a moment to rate.

My computer had some loging in problems and when i took it to get fixed they changed the language from English to Spanish (where i live they speak spanish). I want it to go back to English but i cant...

You do the below seteps: This is what you do:

Start > Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Regional and Language Options.

Once in the Regional and Language Options, click the Keyboards and Languages tab. If you see a drop down list of languages, see if it is set to English. If not, set to English. However, if you do not have this list there, you may need to install it.

Model #VV2000 S # BOAA20050 CHANNEL SPEAKING SPANISH... NEED TO CHANGE TO ENGLISH QUASAR TV

Use your remote control to check the TV SAP settings. This is "second audio program" and is often used to carry the TV sound in another language. If SAP is turned on you won't notice it unless you tune to a channel where the SAP signal is present. Most remotes have a single button to control the audio settings, so it's easy to turn the feature on without knowing it by bumping the button. Turn off SAP and you should be back to English.

Recorded programs in english come out in Spanish

Make sure your TV hasn't been set for SAP (you'll find it in the audio settings menu). Second audio programming is often used to carry alternate languages, and if it's turned on you won't know it until you watch a program where it's being used. There may be a single button labeled SAP on the remote. If so, it's easy to change the TV setting without realizing it.

Go into the menu and under AUDIO and make sure that the sound is set to STEREO, and not SAP (second audio program). If you have a separate setting for SAP then shut it off.

Try going into the television, and changing the audio setting to stereo, it sounds like it set to SAP (second audio program).
