Jim, most all are reliable as long as you take care of them and don't try to make it do more than it was designed to do. regular maintenance is important.

I bought my son a craftsman snowblower last winter we can’t get it to start. It tuns over and over.Help needed.

If last year, you didn't drain the gas from the tank and carb or put fuel stabilizer in the gas, the old gas has gunked up the carb.
Remove the air filter and squirt starter fluid into the carb and see if it will crank. If it runs even a little bit, your carb needs cleaning.

2 stage craftsman snowblower1 year old with 5 hours running time won't run with the choke off

it is a carburetor issue. inside the carburetor the fuel gums up especially in seasonal equipment as snowblowers. look inside the bowl and see if there is any water. take it off and clean it real good with carburetor cleaner. it will run like new.

Will a john deer snowblower attatchment fit a craftsman ride on mower.

Probably not. First off, very few Craftsman products have PTOs. Therefore you have nothing that can drive the snowblower auger. Simply hanging it in the tractor is not going to help.

Craftsman Snowblower Won't Start

If you did not put gas stabilizer in your fuel tank when you stored your machine the gas will turn into varnish. Try draining the gas and put new gas and try to start it. Good luck

Snowblower drive will stop unexpectly when snowblowing

Mine was doing the same thing and I found that if I put it in reverse for a little while it would be ok again for a short time. I found also that it did this more often when the snow was heavy and wet which makes me think that the rubber drive wheel is getting wet and slipping. If you've brought it in to a shop and they've said that nothing could be found wrong, then it must be something that goes away by the time you get it there - water (I'm guessing).
