Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the
set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and
Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.

same problem as others 3 blinking green lights then orangey colors then 3 red blinking lights afterwards shuts down fan runs for about 2 mins solution check your door cover for warpage or deformed just a bit under set screw there is a push in switch try and push it in with q tip while holding turn on tv if it works then that door is deformed and defective change it

Try disconnecting the connector KBL on the main board as shown in my picture #DSCF0585 to see if the backlights will come on, if it does, the main board is bad.
Also check the voltages on the output connectors of the power supply.
