SOURCE: Dell Inspirion 1526 Laptop Battery is not charging

Sound like the battery. Take the battery out and there should be a power meter on it, press it, if there are three lights that flash, the battery is shot. Not all batteries will flash if they are worn out, but they are supposed to. Try a new battery, I believe this will coorect the issue.

SOURCE: Battery will not charge/ keep computer on. laptop

Sounds to me like the transformer circuit that enables the batery to charge. If you have bought your machine within the last 12 months it should still be covered by warranty so go back to the supplier. If not covered I wouod still try as it is not beyond reasonable expecations that the machine will operate perfectly in very way for more than 1 year.

Wet drives floor board and an off key battery drain

You are likely facing two separate issues.
IF IT HAS NOT BEEN RAINING, the damp floorboard on the driver's side may be a leaking heater core (a part mounted under the dashboard inside the heating system that uses the engine's hot coolant to provide heat to the car).
IF IT HAS BEEN RAINING, the drain at the bottom of your driver's side door is clogged, and is leaking into the cabin. If the carpet adjacent to the door is wet, that's your problem. Just use a piece of wire to clean out the door drain (a hole in the bottom of the door, usually partially covered by a rubber flap).

REGARDING THE DYING BATTERY, it is one of several possible issues:
1) Your battery may be bad bad (a condition called "sulphation," which can be determined free-of-charge by having your battery load-tested at a local auto parts store); or
2) The regulator/rectifier in your alternator has gone bad. Have your battery tested first, then ask if they can test your alternator for you as well; or
3) A light or accessory is draining your battery. Use a video recorder to see if your trunk light turns off when you close the trunk. Also check to be sure your glove compartment light turns off when you close the glove compartment. Same with the hood light (if your car has one). Make sure that you unplug your GPS, phones, MP3 players, etc., and see if the battery continues to drain.

Let me know what you find out!

Sync wii controller tmart

t is possible that your Wii remote has "lost" its sync. You can clear all previous synced Wii remotes with your console and reconnect the ones you are using. Power off the console and unplug the power cord for a few seconds. Plug the power cord back in and turn the Wii back on. At the "Health and Safety" screen, open the small door on the faceplate of the console. Hold the red sync button for at least 15 seconds. All previous syncs have been removed from your console at this point. This process does not need to be repeated to re-sync each remote. Take the first Wii remote you wish to sync and remove the door to the battery compartment. Press and release the red sync button near the batteries. Quickly press and release the red sync button on the console. The lights on the remote will flash and then illuminate the light that corresponds to that remote's position (1, 2, 3, or 4). Repeat this process for each Wii remote in any desired order.
fix it. God bless you

Ds battery problem

Ok I know what has gone on here as it had happened to my DS-Lite as long as you bought a genuine DS from here in Oz or which ever country you live in and not 1 from China Etc as 99.999999% of DS consoles from China Etc are fakes

First Of all the problem is that the battery pack has failed completely the molecular structure of the battery is breaking back down into it's original state and when you recharge the battery pack it can not excite the molecules enough to completely charge as some of the molecules are dead and such will decrease the performance of your battery. You will need to buy a replacement battery pack or as it is a new console it should be covered under warranty as on a full charge on my DS Lite I can play for 15 hours+ non stop playing.

Ok the fix is very easy all you need is a small star screwdriver.

Step 1. Take the small star screwdriver and undo the screw that holds the battery compartment closed and take off the cover.

Step 2. Take out the old battery and set aside for proper disposal.

Step 3. Place the new battery in the battery compartment it should only go in 1 way.

Step 4. Replace the battery compartment door, replace the small screw and tighten.

Step 5. Charge the battery pack until light goes out.

Step 6. Play away my friend as now you should have fixed the problem.

Please Note that the time difference between consoles playing time depends on the actual ds console.

DS & DS-Lite are your better performers battery wise at up to 19 hours continuous play.
DSi to the current DSi-XL 3DS will vary from 3 to 6 hours due to the extra power needed to run the cameras etc.

I need instructions for my timex clock

Hello
Here are the instructions for your clock-radio.

Installation

1* Remove unit and all packing materials from the carton. You should save packing

materials in case unit needs to be returned for service. If you do not wish to save the

materials, please dispose of them properly.

2* Place the unit on a stable, level surface, close to an AC outlet, out of direct sunlight,

and away from sources of dust, dirt, heat, water, moisture, vibration, or magnetic fields.

3* After installing the batteries (see below) and reading the Maintenance notes, plug the

AC cord into an outlet.

"Sure Alarm" Battery Backup Installation

It is strongly recommended that 2 "AA" batteries be installed into the unit, as directed below,

in order to activate this product's "Sure Alarm" Battery Backup feature. (The model should

come with two batteries already installed.) In the event that the AC power cord is disconnected

or a power failure or other interruption occurs, the "Sure Alarm" Battery Backup will maintain

clock and alarm settings for the life of the battery, ensuring that the alarm (buzzer only) will

sound at the set time. During any interruptions the time and alarm settings will be saved

and automatically restored when AC power is again active.

1* Gently turn the unit over and remove the battery

compartment door.

2. Install 2 "AA" batteries (alkaline is recommended for

longer life), while making sure that the + and - ends

match up with those inside the battery compartment.

3* Slide the battery compartment door back on, making

sure the door locks into place, and gently return the
unit to its upright position.

Hello,

There are three possible reasons why your computer is experiencing this power problem. What you need to do is to isolate the component that's causing it.

These are the parts which should be checked:
1. Power supply
2. Battery
3. Motherboard of the laptop.

Here's the procedure that you have to follow:

1.
Remove the battery from the computer.

2. Power the computer up with the power cord only without the battery on it.

3. Check if it works perfectly without any problems even if the battery is out. If it works, then, the battery needs to be replaced. (Note: Batteries are disposable parts. They usually die after 2 years of usage depending on how you use it.)

4.If no go even without the battery on it, check the ac adapter or cord if there's a light lit on the box of the cord. If no lights on it, double check the connection. If connections seem ok but no power, then, replace the power cord.

5. If power cord seem fine, check the hole in the computer where you plug in the cord. What you need to check is if there are any sign of damages. Wiggle the cord and see if there are lights lit in the laptop.

I hope this help.

My battery shows up. says 0% remaining (charging), but it never charges and shuts off as soon as the power cord is unpluged.

1) Could be the battery is bad.
2) The charging port could be damaged
3) The adapter charge cord could be damaged
4) If not too expensive, I'd try a new battery first or better yet, if you could find someone with a like model to test their battery in your pc and see if it charges in your machine.
5) Ask a local shop if they'd be able to troubleshoot it for you.

Toshiba without battery

1. If the batteries are dead then there's no way that you can charge them again. You're better off purchasing a new one. You can purchase one online by visiting the ToshibaDirect website or by calling them on 1-800-316-09202.

2. Yes, you can use the power cords to run the computer. Just plug them in using the power cords even with the batteries removed and it should work fine.

3. Yes you can but you might experience some current fluctuations. This is negligible on a CMOS battery though.

Milwaukee Job site radio

Questions:
1. Does the AC cord look ok? Not damaged?
2. Have you tried another AC outlet?
3. Does the AC cord unplug from the radio?

When you operate the radio from the AC power cord, the radio uses an internal power supply consisting of a step-down transformer, rectifier, and filter that converts the AC to DC to operate the radio.

When you run the radio off of batteries, it powers the radio directly. In some radios, when you plug the AC cord into the radio, it activates a switch that disconnects the battery voltage to the radio so that the batteries wont be damaged from the voltage created by the internal supply.

The radio can be powered by either the batteries or the internal supply. You don't want either supply affecting the other, so that is why a switch is sometimes used.

Since the radio works fine off of batteries, that would indicate that there is a problem with the internal power supply. This could be a blown fuse, bad transformer or bad rectifier diode.

Good Luck,
- Jim
