Brother IntelliFax 4100e unable to receive fax from certain senders. Why? I can receive most of documents but from a couple of doctor's offices. the fax activity report shows 1) Result - NG (Ppor Line condition/Out of Memory", 2) Comment- RX (???) The fax machine rings and rings but no documents come out...

your paper error message means you probably received a document that wasn't the size of paper in the paper tray ,try legal sized paper,to dump the job stuck in your faxes memory ,this

I have a fax line with packet8 which is a voip carrier. I am having trouble receiving faxes. I was told to change the baud rate on the fax to less than 9600. I don't know how to do it on my brother intellifax 4100e. can you advise?
With the front cover still open, you should press Clear ("Replace Drum?" should appear on the display), and then 1 for Yes. Wait for "Accepted" message and close cover. It may be necessary to remove the drum unit and put it back in, and then, with the cover open, do the a/m procedure.
