Question about Proform Exercise & Fitness

Open Question

The endcap of my Proform 750cs has broken and I've ordered a replacement. My question is; is there a trick to reattaching the endcap?

The issue I see is that I don't seem to have enough room to hold on to the roller and line up the screw with the end of the roller. Either the endcap is in the way or the belt or the sides of the machine. Can the front roller be loosened to the point of having access to the back roller, attach the back roller and the tighten the front roller?

SOURCE: 92 yota 4runner fuel filter replacment

The fuel filter is under pressure so be sure to remove the gas cap before attempting to remove the filter. If not you will strip out the nuts. Run your vehicle until the reserve fuel light has been on for 20 or so miles. This way you can let the remaining fuel (1-2 gallons) run into a gas can and you can reuse it. Unscrew the nuts from the gas tank side and the engine side, then install the new filter. The fuel filter is located on the passenger side, almost directly under the front seat, but on the undercarriage. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: how do you loosen the serpentine belt

remove air filter box completely. loosen o/s/f wheel. jack up the car, and secure. remove wheel. remove plastic shield to expose the cranckshaft pulley.check routing of the belt for replacement. on top of the tensioner there is a square, about 1/2 inch, place a bar in the square and gently push the bar towards the front of the car to release the tension, and remove the belt. change any defective pulleys. refit the belt leaving the top pulley till last.take up the tension of the tensioner, and then fit the remaining belt. make sure the belt is sitting right in it's grooves, and crank the engine first to make sure it is fitted ok. refit air box, plastic shield and wheel.

SOURCE: Door panel removal

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

SOURCE: Screws for ACER PREDATOR front cover linkage

These screws are pretty common. Take one of the screws down to your local hardware store or small electronics store and I'm sure they have replacements.

SOURCE: Installing endcap assembly on a pro form

Well congratulations for having gotten that far! The spring on the right hand side needs to be on the rear of the bolt. Be sure it is not in front of the roller or it will only tighten a certain amount. The bolt goes into the roller first, then the washer then the spring/sleeve then another washer and then the nut on the end. If you need a diagram you can go to and search for pftl4206 that should be your model and go to the parts listing in the rear of the book for the diagram.
Good Luck!

How do I adjust the belt on my Proform Crosswalk Gtx? The belt is too far to the left on the rollers. Thank you.

You can adjust the rear roller bolts tighten the left side to make the belt come back to the right. If it will not come back you may have a broken endcap causing the problem

Walking belt folds

It sounds like one of the adjusted bolts or endcaps that adjusts the walk belt is broken, look at the bolts where you adjust and see if the side the belt is shifting to is broken. It may have ruined the belt also but you wont be able to tell till you correct the tracking problem.
