SOURCE: Need a part number for a 3310Le 110 vac power supply

Oops!

Generally the unit should have a part number attached to or printed on it somewhere. This is for the board with the power switch attached, it's called the power supply unit, so hopefully this is what you are looking for.

There seems to be two possible options, so you will need to determine which is the correct unit you need.

How many Horse power Dei-815/E freezer

Freezers are not measured in horsepower, only mechanical engines. This is the specs, and it is basically a 25 amp freezer, with an additional 7 amps or fans lighting and door heater, both at 250 volts AC. However, running an Amps to HP converter gives 6.971 horsepower.

Is there a way to replace a 3-prong outlet to a 4-prong outlet using only the 3 wires available?

No. A four-prong outlet is designed to produce 220 vac. The wires behind your outlet will most likely only yield 110 vac. You would need to run a dedicated wire from your fuse box to the outlet. (In other words, time to hire somebody!)

Gew9200LW duet dryer

If this is a 220 VAC dryer use a voltmeter at the wall plug. Chcking from common, usually the leg with the angled blade, to each of the hot legs, each with the straight blade. You need to have 110 VAC in both of these. If there is only 110 at one of the legs the motor will run but the element will not heat. If you find only one leg has 110 VAC try a new circuit breaker in the breaker box. If the breaker is bad it will appear to reset, but still not send current. If you have 110 on both legs check in the dryer for a burned off wire at the timer or element.

Hello.. I have a 220v stack washer and dryer unit. I live in hawaii and never use the dryer and electricity here is at a premium. I would like to run just the washer on 110 and disconnect the dryer and run...

Hello Troy, I have checked the schematic which should be located behind the sloping front panel above the washer lid. The washer portion is powered by 110 vac supplied from the dryer's L1 connection (black) and the neutral (white). It should be quite simple to make an adapter with "hardware store" parts like a standard 20 amp plug and an appropriate 220 volt receptical. Please verify that the neutral lead goes to chassis ground and make use of the 110 plug's ground to the receptacal ground (green headed screws) with a seperate lead, for your safety. When the machine is plugged into the adapter, only the washer should function.
As a final note, I see that the dryer motor and timer are also 110 volt but are connected from the other hot lead, L2, to neutral. Only the heater is powered by 220 vac. Therefore if you should connect to L2 by mistake, only the dryer drum would operate. Unfortunately, I do not see a simple way to make both the washer and dryer run on a single 110 feed.

Bosch universal mixer 800W. How do I change a 110 volt to a 220 volt? Is it possible?

Bosch is not very good about putting manuals or other documentation online for older products, so I'll have to give you generic advice.

Some electric motors have optional voltage connections. If your motor has this feature, there will be a box or removable plate on the motor with 110 Volt and 220 Volt connections inside. You would need to replace the line cord with a 220 Volt cord having the correct plug for the location you plan to use the mixer, and connect the motor "hot" wire to the 220 V connection in the motor junction box instead of the 110 V connection (the neutral wire goes to the same neutral).

If there is no such option available on the motor, you would also have to replace the motor with a 220 Volt version. Check the labeling on the speed control (inside the mixer) to be sure it is rated for 240 VAC, and check the power label by the power cord. If the label gives a single range of input voltages spanning both 110 VAC and 220 VAC (e.g., "Input 97 V- 265 V") then you only need to change the plug. Unless the electrical parts are all rated for 240 VAC or higher, conversion is not safe.

Some products (especially desktop computers) have a recessed switch on the back that lets you select either 115 VAC or 230 VAC input power. If you have this on the mixer, all you have to do is use a small tool to push it to the other position.

An alternative is to get a 230 VAC - 115 VAC transformer or inverter rated for at least 800 Volt-Amps and wire it with a 230 Volt plug on the primary side and a 115 Volt socket on the secondary side; then you can just plug in your unmodified mixer to this. If you cannot find a box like this, you can buy a "control transformer" from an industrial equipment supplier and put it in a suitable metal box. I recommend including a power switch and a 4 Amp dual-element fuse or breaker on the primary side circuit; you don't want somebody burning up the transformer with a 1200 Watt microwave oven or griddle.

Laptop has 3-prong cord, house has 2-prong recept. adapter safe?

Yes ... If I am going to plug in my $1500.00 laptop in to an outlet, I wait to charge or run, not cook. I don't know how you feel about that. Are you a USA resident? Are you using 110 VAC or 220 VAC? Plug your laptop in only if the power is known to you.

The best way to overcome this problem is to have an electrician update at least one outlet in each of your different homes to the standard, three prong plug, which was established in the USA more 40 years ago.

I'm in Germany where outlets are different so we have to use a converter box. My AC adapter is not cooperating and has a yellow light until you try to turn it on and then turns red. Whats the problem?

What type of 'AC adapter'? And 'converter box?'
Since the power supplies are pretty certainly 'switched mode' the 50 Hz line frequency shouldn't bother it so all you should need is a step-down transformer (220-110 VAC) unless the 360 specifies (for example) 100-250 VAC in which case you should need nothing other than a plug adapter. If it is specified only for US power (~120 VAC) you may be able to get a step-down transformer from the local German utility. When I left there (many moons ago, I confess) they provided these on a free loan basis.

Low voltage only or can timer be used for 110 v

1 hp= 750 watts
125 vac = 125 volts alternating current, wall outlets
5 amp= 5amps

125vac x 5amps= 625 watts

a timer is a switch with a clock on it. just like a switch in a lamp cord.
