Lost charger

if you are right and it has been discharged for this long it will take a long time for it to start to could also not charge ever again. batteries have to have a minimum off 1.5volts to be able to recharge. if it drop lower than this it cannot charge. now sometimes you can jump start the battery with a slightly higher voltage but only to the battery not in the unit. goes as follows. 1.5v battery jump 3 seconds on 3volt. 3v battery jump 6volt 3 sec, 9volt jump 12volt 2 seconds, 12volt 14-16volt 2 seconds 2 times. 14volt and 16volt is max 24volt 1 second at 3 intervals. all these are set at a 3amp no higher amp.

Plugged in wrong power cord and got new one that works but it wont charge the battery for my haier 7 inch portable lcd tv

Compare the voltage and current ratings on the TV (either on the label or next to the power jack) with those on the AC adapter/charger. The voltage on the charger MUST be the same as that on the TV. The charger's current rating should be the same or more. If the current rating is too low, the set may run, but it won't charge the battery while the set is on, and it will take longer than the manufacturer's specified time to charge the battery. Also, the charger may run hot because it's being overloaded.

How long will the battery last? Can it be recharged in my car? How long does it take to recharge?

Haier HLT71 portable TV battery is good for about 2 hours.
You can recharge it from your car cigarette lighter jack.
Or from your household 120 VAC wall plug.
It comes with both adaptors you need.
It takes about 8 hours for a full charge.
You can charge the TV while watching it, or you can power it off.
Not sure if it charges faster or the same if you are watching.
If the battery does not give you 2 hours after the first charge, try charging and using it a few more times to bring the battery up to full capacity.
Replacement batteries are available on eBay. Good to have for backup in case of a storm.

Sony HC39e will not charge

You are okay on charging this while it is connected to TV/PC etc it does not use same pins so you have not damaged the camera by doing that.
However the reason it is not charging is a problem with the power lead and transformer in-line have you another to try?

When ups is on it willgo to falt mode we have conected in tv

I assue you connected the UPS to a TV to test the UPS unit.

Batteries in the UPS typically last 3 to 5 years and it depends upon several factors. including the number of times the unit must go on battery power and environmental conditions. There are usually several batteries in the UPS and while the battery voltage may show 13 volts, this may only be a float charge/voltage and a true indication of the battery voltage and condition requires the batteries to be tested under a load. If one battery in a set of batteries that is faulty and causes the whole battery system to fail and indicate a battery fault. A faulty charging circuit will not charge batteries and will cause a fault condition.

These lower powered and cheaper type UPS are switch over types, when the mains supply fail, the UPS switches over to the battery and inverter in milli-seconds which then supplies mains power. A faulty inverter circuit and or flat batteries won’t deliver standby power when the mains supply fails.
