SOURCE: 2003 polaris 550 trail touring,revearse not working

the high idle could be a dirty needle check your carbs i have that problem with my 550 rmk the reverse light could be your wire harness check your wires with any wire tester idk the specs for it but also clean your connections with some electrical wire component cleaner and use so di-electrical grease if all else fails you may need to bring it to a mechanic for a small fix like that it should run up that high

SOURCE: how do I adjust the throttle on my 1996 Polaris

follow the cable down to the carbs, where it meets, there will be a threaded kind of bolt with two nuts on it. you ajust it by loostening the base nut, and threading that bolt looking thing into the pice of metal it sits in, when you are done, tighten the nit back down to prevent it from vibrating back out

you need a clutch puller, Take out the center bolt and the clutch puller will thread into the same hole,as you tighten it up it pulls the clutch off; Good luck

I was full throttle going across a lake when boom the snowmobile stalled and dropped down. I opened the hood and the primary clutch was in 3 pieces and the belt was in pieces. Tell me what it would have...


those 900s had a recal for many things, one of which was very poor cooling to the clutches, they recalled them and put aftermarket vent kits, your clutches got really really hot and came apart
