SOURCE: Cannot log out of Facebook
The solution I found is simple...
1) Go to the "Tools" option in InternetExplorer
2) Then go to "Internet Options"
3) Select the "Delete" option in the browsing history section.
4) Menu will appear, simply UNTICK THE FIRST BOX! which states "Preseve favourites website data".
This will remove the facebook cookie and stuff so when you log out of hotmail you will not see that message about not being able to log out of facebook anymore =]
Hope this helps It really should!

Just tested it and logged in, everything seems to be good. Try clearing out your temporary files and history on your computer. Assuming you are using Internet Explorer to surf the web, follow the directions below:
1. Goto "Tools"
2. Goto "Internet Options"
3. Under "Browsing History" , select "Delete"
4. In the next box select "Delete All"
5. Close Internet Explorer and try to log into Facebook again.

This should fix it.
To get to your privacy settings, click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page, and choose Privacy Settings. This page contains a group of general controls for your Facebook account, such as who can send you friend requests and messages. For everything else that you share on Facebook
Buy Performance Parts.

There can be several possibilities... if it shows certificate expired. look at the date you entered it might be too old... else try to reinstall the firefox. There may be you have installed a add-on or a toolbar that can access the facebook accounts. try to disable it and try again to log in...
