The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

Kuds301xwh7 dishes dont clean

There is a sensor that determines how dirty your dishes are. If you pre-rinse your dishes, the unit believes the dishes are clean. Pour left over coffee, tea, coke (dark liquids) into the bottom of the dishwasher to fool the sensor. Continue to pre-wash your dishes. I was ready to throw this out before finishing the payments until I learned this trick. Still not happy with it but it helps.

Dishes are not clean at all. There is water going into the dishwasher. Sometimes the dishes don't even look like water even touched them.

I bought a Krups Household Type Waffle Maker at a thrift store. It looks new, but doesn't have any instructions with it on how much batter to use or how to clean it. I got a recipe online and it was great...

I think this is why people make pancakes. =) Cleaning the waffle iron is a real pain. My waffle maker looks exactly like the one you have pictured. Mine also came with no instructions because its my fiance's. As far as how much batter to use, you should use a ladle and through trial and error figure out how much is the best amount. I would guesstimate approximately 1/4 c. For cleaning the overspill, from what I have read online, everyone says to unplug the iron (obviously) and wait until the waffle iron has completely cooled before cleaning. I have cleaned the back of the unit (where the coils are, which unfortunately got flooded with batter the first time) with a damp kitchen brush, damp sponge, and paper towels. Its messy and time consuming to clean up. You can get in the coils better with an old toothbrush or a very small bottle cleaner (like the kind you would buy to clean cake decorator tips). I just use warm water to remove the batter/gunk. I use a sponge (damp with warm water) to clean the baking plates. I towel dry everything after its clean, and clean the outside with a little windex so it stays nice and shiny. Good luck! I also recommend making lots of extra waffles and freezing them, so you can avoid as much waffle clean-up as possible. ;) You can heat them up in the toaster like Eggos. They stay good in the freezer for up to 6 months.

I found only one other reference to cleaning this model on the internet and that TWB2 did not have detachable plates. You should not immerse this. I generally do not clean the "Teflon" surface of waffle makers - leave it oily. I do clean the outside with a damp soapy sponge.
My experience with waffle irons is that you should lightly oil the inside (spreading everywhere with a boars hair brush) just before adding your first waffle batter. Even non-stick surfaces need a little oil.
>>My Waffle Tips: The batter should contain more egg and oil than a pancake batter does. If your waffles are too chewy, you mixed the batter too much and made gluten. The egg whites should be beat separately to stiff peaks and folded gently into the batter. The batter should be quickly spread across the lower griddle, filling every void. Pay attention to the amount of steam coming out of the griddle and the smell - this correlates to the moisture content of the insides and the crispness of the waffle outside.<<
