I had the same error and looked at the suggestions. It seems all of the user correctable problems are related to the ink carriage not being able to move freely (mine was a paper jam). Open the lid and see if the carriage will move,

The printer has an end of life service, meaning it has printed its last print on paper.. you have to get it reset from a technician or if you are savy enough you can download this resetter and do the reset yourself.

Was advised to uninstall the application programs for the printer. To do this, I put the disc in, for the printer, started the install. At the start of installing, the option to uninstall was given. Disconnected the printer cables from the computer (ethernet and modem cables). Did the uninstall, then continued to install the printer applications.
While doing the install, updated the OS drivers for the printer.
Once the printer applications were installed connected the printer. It now works again.

We have seen some success with this issue by following these instructions. Please try this procedure one more time using the instructions below.
Note: Also check that the ink cartridges and lids are pushed down fully.
- Turn the printer off, then disconnect the power and the interface cable. Open the cover and check for any torn or jammed paper and remove it.
- Reconnect the power cable and turn the printer back on.
- Press the Copy button and see if the unit responds.
If the issue persists, the hardware itself is malfunctioning and will require service
