hello M,Nelson

I gonna need a little bit more information , but i supose it's a personal printer and you dont share it over your Network.

the solution is simple, close your printer and take the power cable off, after close your computer.
plug back the power cord for your printer and re-open your computer.

it's supose to do the trick. let me know.

look for the ink level, a simple way to notice if it is the printer or the computer the problem, try to print a test page.

DO NOT KNOW WHAT PRINTER TO BUY FOR MY E-MACHINE COMPUTER

you can buy any printer you like. It will come with software that will install the drivers you need to operate the Printer. I reccomend Canon printers. They are a little more expensive than HP printers and others, but they are much better quality printers.

How do I cancel previous prints. The printer prints old prints not the ones on the computer screen

Easiest way would be to open up the print queue and see if there's anything in there that needs to be canceled. If you have WinXP or Vista, it'll be a little printer icon own on the bottom right by the time. If that still doesn't work, reboot. If the reboot doesn't fix it, could be a driver issue which means reinstall the printer.

Connecting a network printer to 2wire 2701HGV-w

This is a little tricky technically it your printer isn't made to go onto the network, but you and do one of to things... let me start with the most cost effective way and that is

1. Hook your Printer up to a computer that is already on the network and then go into windows and SHARE that printer giving access to all the computers to print to it that you need to. I don't know what Operating System you have so your going to have to give more information to get clarification on exactly what you need to do in the Operating System to share the printer. The CONS of this approach is that you can only print to that printer when that computer is on. So if you want to have continuous ability to print to that printer you will have to keep your computer on.

2. You can get what they call a Print Server... and connect it to your printer and your network.. turning your printer into a network printer. Of course you might need to get more detail depending on what Print Server you choose. The Cons of this approach is that ofcourse your going to have to buy more equipment... but the pro's are you won't have to keep other computers on in the network to print to it. One last note you will find Print Servers in the store where you find Routers and Hubs.

The best of luck to you... and I hope this Helps... after you decide which way you want to go you might want to contact me or one of the other techs to get more percise approaches to installing your equipment... but we will need to know you Operating System, and the Print Server... if you go that route. Good Luck! I hope this works for you!!!

Sincerely,

Epson stylus 1400 printer

What kind of Port is the printer hooked up to? Computer should have usb port to printer. You also may be printing at 2800 dpi instead of the lesser quality with very little change in picture slower speed. Check those things and let me know if you've resolved the issue.

I need to know what connections i need to connect two computers to one hp printer

A 5 port switch (Hub) and network cables are about the simplest.
If the printer doesn't have a network port, you can add a small print server.
The print server is a little device the connect to the parallel port on the printer.
You then connect it to one of the ports on the switch (Hub)

Another way to share a printer is to connect the printer to one of the computers, and then share it. This is considering that you have the 2 computers networked together.
The drawback with this setup vs the first one, is that the computer that has the printer attached, must be on for the other computer to be able to print to it. The first setup, you only need to have the printer on, for either computer to be able to print to it.

I need to change to size of the print

When you are ready to print, go to the option above print, called page setup. Change the scale to about 150%, just experiment with that and it should help. There are other options in print preview that will let you change the size, but I would go with page setup. Hope that helps

I need to change to size of the print

You have to change the size within the computer software (word?). Use a 11 or 12 size and arial or times as a standard. The mfc prints the job as given by software (with settings given by user).
