To hard reset your LG I34c mobile phone, follow below instructions.

How to restore back to factory settings

Try powering it up with the power button, and the volume buttons (both vol up and vol down) - all 3 pressed simultaneously. Hold them until it either boots, or gives you the option to restore to factory settings. This is a common method with tablets, but I have not used the pandigital.

Phone is running slow

You need to take a back up of your data and then do hard rest the phone . Below is how you do it .
Menu Path Method: From the Start Screen, press the Menu button and select Settings. Select SD & phone storage. Select Factory data reset. Select Reset phone. You will be prompted again, and select Erase everything. The device will reset and restore the device to the original factory settings.

Key stroke Method Power off the device. Press and hold the Volume Down and the Power Button until you see the HTC logo, followed by white screen with text and a few menu options. Press the Volume Down button to scroll down till you highlight "Factory Reset". Press the Power button to restore your phone to factory settings and also your phone will restart.
Also try not to install more stuff on your internal memory

My band new Samsung tablet hung for the first time in less than 24 hours of purchase. I was downloading some the angry Bird and surfing meanwhile... and it froze. Even pressing the on/off button would not...

you should press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds because you can't remove your battery while it hung and try to restore to the factory setting when it can power off
to do factory setting you can follow this step (restore to factory setting will erase all of your data going back to the first time you buy it)
1. press the volume up and power button at the same time
2. when you see the logo appearing release the power button but keep holding the volume up button
3. you can see displayed menu and use the volume up and down to select, then to reset to factory setting please select the option that labeled wipe data/factory reset using the power button
