The bill acc. blinks 3 times, bill & cion mechs have been changed, still blinks three times. won't take any money or vend.

Try it without the bill acceptor attached to get the machine working. You did not say what kind of acceptor but three flashes often mean a bad sensor in the unit. Another possibility is that it is disabled from the vendor. Check that all the columns have returned to home position if it is a bag vendor. If it is a pop machine then take off the metal cover over the vend motors and CAREFULLY push down on the microswitches to see if the motors run. Pop may fall out as you do this so watch for it. After running all the motors or homing out all the columns try you machine again. You will probably have to get the bill acceptor fixed though.

Features found on most bill counting machines

Bill and coin counters come with a host of different functions and features that when you learn and master the them you will be a bill counting ninja! There are many terms that you will hear when getting started with your coin counter but the the most important ones are hopper capacity, error detection, adding mode and batch counting.

The hopper is the part of the bill counter that holds the bills that are going to be counted. Bill counting machines have a limit to how many bills the hopper can hold this is known as the hopper capacity. Usually instructions come with a number for how many new bills the hopper can hold, but if you are going to be counting older and crumpled bills that number will be cut in half. So if the capacity is 100 new bills then the number of old bills with around 50.

when you are counting bills its important to watch for error detection on the machine. These errors can be for a feeding error, detection of fake bills or a problem with the sensors in the machine. Machines with error decors are on the higher end but they make troubleshooting easier as well as give you confidence in their counting.

These last two features can be combined into one key feature that makes counting bills with a machine a breeze. Adding and batch counting modes. In a regular mode on a bill counting machine the counter will reset when you finish counting a stack, but if you enable adding mode the counter will continue to count from where the last stack left off.
Batching on the other hand is good for when you have a huge stack of bills like lets say $5's and you want them to be split into stacks of 10's. You can set the machine to batch count so it will stop counting after 10 bills have passed through. This is really good for if you are stacking bills into increments that are easy to count.

How can we get the counter to know when a different bill is mixed in

We consider the semacon a throw away machine. That being said, the s-1625 is not capable of detecting different bills. It is just a unit counting machine. It does have the option of counterfeit detection using magnetic or UV sensors if you have that version. A true counter that can find the wrong bill in a pack is at least a $3,000 machine and are very nice. Good luck.

How o we get the s-25 to seperate bills?

It is not capable of separating bills. You need a different machine to do that. Like a Shark 100N for example. Good luck....

How do money counting machines work?

after you place the stack of bills into the slot, each bill is mechanically pulled through the machine. There is a laser beam, and each time the laser is interrupted by the passing of a bill, it registers it (counts it). The machine also uses pattern recognition criteria to differentiate between bills of different denomination

How can i program the counter to count bills totaling one hundred...for example one hundred ones and restarts

The Batch button allows you to count bills in batches from 1 - 999. For example, if you want to sort into piles of 100 bills, the machine will count 100 bills, then stops. Once you remove those 100 bills, it will continue to count the next batch of 100 bills, then stops again. The machine is preset to common counting mode, To count bills in batches, press BATCH. Batching is preset to 100 bills. To change batch amount, press C to clear, and use the keypad to enter a batch number between 1 and 999. Press SET to save the setting.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO TO FIX A FRUITMACHINE. WHEN YOU PUT IN MONEY IT JUST DROPS BACK OUT AGAIN

It's either 1 of 2 things. The coin mechanism or bill acceptor is malfunctioning, it will need to be repaired, if you can't see what's going on with it by looking. 2 - The machine itself has a problem, and is telling the coin mech/bill validator the machine is out of order, and not to accept money for this reason.

look on the control board. there's some DIP switches. these are set according to the number of coins needed to run the machine. the coin acceptor reads the number of coins going through it and advances the control board one increment for each "good" coin. objectionable coins are rejected.
