The best way is to invest in an Ultra Vilolet light...many of them will eliminate odors as well as purify the air...

You said the fan blows but does it light? Diesel may have gummed up the nozzle or pump or fuel line.

The problem was solved by installing a new nozzle.

Heater had a cracked fuel line that was not visiable on original inspection.

clean all of your filters and the spark plug and go back to useing K1 kerosene. Diesel fuel has a higher ignition temp. burns dirty and has a tendency to gel.

needs a new nosel and tuneup kit you can get it at sears for about 12.00 dollars
