You have a boat with a Z-Drive, and contra-rotating twin props? I wouldn't describe them as one below the other. Or are we talking about something different altogether?

Water pump

The water pump is a flexible impellor located in the top of the bottom section of the leg of the outboard. It is driven by the drive shaft to the prop that is spinning all the time the motor is running. You will find it behind or near the water inlet slots at the bottom of the leg

My 88 bayliner capri loses cavitation every time i turn. how far below bottom of boat should my prop b.

well first you dont want cavitation. But if you are referring to slippage of prop it is either the prop causing the problem as wrong prop or damage. without knowing more this question is hard to answer. Please explain more for more thorough answer

After a minimal crash the bottom blade is not spinning , but the whole copter is trying to spin.

probably you bent a piece near the shaft and it is stopping the prop from spinning but since the motor is still spinning it still tries to spin the other side of the shaft(the copter)

HI I got a 1993 mainbuilt eagle boat. with a 130 hp honda .also have a 24 inch setback plate. Ihave got the top plate above the prop 2 inches above thebottom and I'm haveing a hard time to get out of the...

I think the prop is too far out of the water. The front of the hull is going to push the water away from the transom until you get lift. If you consider the prop is just below the planing fin you need push, not cavitation. With the setback you are actually lengthening the boat and you have a void of 24 inches of water before the hull starts to throw the water out of the way.

Trolling motor will not spin with out being turned by hand.

Take the prop off and make sure the pin that goes through the shaft is in place. The prop could also not be sitting on the pin proper.

Need to replace belt

remove the front panel. you may need to remove a kick panel below the front panel. the top panel connects to the front panel by some plastic push in retainers (you can loosen them with a screwdriver) You need to prop the top panel up. the belt goes over the top of the drum down to a drive wheel that is located at the bottom of the dryer.
