Setting clocks is usually a simple task or almost impossible without a manual. Directions are generally specific to the brand and often to the model of the device. I have a radio alarm clock that I always have to read the directions again simply to set it and then read it again to cancel the alarm. You well may need the user manual. Try googling the brand and model plus the word user manual. If you include posting such in a query, you stand a better chance of getting a more helpful answer. There even might be a YouTube video showing you how to set the clock. Here is how to set a Sony radio alarm clock, for example: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00191752
I just brought the same one at a garage sale, after a bit of fiddling around, i figured it out
To set the time:
1. Hold down the 'real' button
2. While holding it down, push down hour until you have the desired hour (if you want pm, you need to go around until the 'pm light' is on
3. While still holding down the real button, push the minute button until desired number is reached
To set the alarm:
1. Hold down the alarm button
2. Follow steps 2 and 3 of setting the time, except with the alarm button held down instead of the real button
Turn the radio off, then hold down the time set, the hr will flash, set it with the arrow keys, then press time set again, do the same for mins, then click time set to accept the changes.
There are three buttons under the heading "Dual Wake", WK1, Cancel, WK2. The WK buttons refer to the two wake time settings you can have. Press Cancel and then WKx. That will turn off the alarm. If you press WKx more than once, it will cycle through small symbols on the bottom of the screen with the number x in front of them. First symbol means it will have a sound alarm for alarm x, second symbol means it will have a radio alarm and the third symbol means it will play the CD to alarm. You set the time for alarm with the slide switch at the back of the unit, selecting WK1 for alarm 1 and WK2 for alarm 2. You can have both alarms active at once, or either one singly.
