My brother's dog isalso suffering from diabetes. After he got his shots, he started giving him foodhigh in protein and low in carbs and fats (by Royal Canin, which wasrecommended by the vet). Since then he's been able to manage his diabetes and he'sfeeling better (especially when it comes to urinating).

Blood test is more important then others test to find main problem of your health. So diabetes and thyroid is not a small problem, and these type of problem is only identified by blood tests. So blood test like Thyroid Blood Tests , diabetes blood test is necessary.

My blood suger levels are over 20 this has accourd over the pass 2 weeks since I hav been the dibeties people in hospital the have dropped my insulien doses by 4mm each time

That's high. You really have to get that down, right down.

Stick with the medical peoples' advice and also talk with a dietician, who will tell you it isn't just about sugar, it's also carbohydrates and a balance of other things. You'll also be told to exercise (burns glucose) and lose weight.

I'd urge you to stay away from quack remedies and homeopathy etc. If they really worked every doctor woud be doing it.

Do take this very seriously. How do I know? I have diabetes 2.

What is the sugar is good for type 2 diabities and ready level.

Well, no sugar is really GOOD for diabetes. With sweeteners the general wisdom seems to be that Stevia sweetener is the safest.

However you see, with Diabetes 2 it isn't the suger only you have to watch it is your carbohydrate intake, since carbs are converted in your body to glucose, at different rates.

Many foods are quite high in carbs and these need to be minimised if you have D2. They will have a high Glycemic Index (GI) rating, so you look for low GI index foods.

http://www.glycemicindex.com/

Some foods haven't been rated when you buy them, so check out the sugar content and the carb content on the Net. You will find wide variations in say, breads.

http://www.gisymbol.com/cms/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Glycemic-Index-Foundation-GI-Managing-Diabetes.pdf

You may want to get a blood glucose test kit (fingerprick) to see how you are going. The doctor will want you to have a HbA1c blood test which is a sort of 3-month average reading.

The other best thing you can do is lose a lot of weight if you aren't already thin, and exercise, say 30 min 4 times a week.

I'd urge you to avoid quack remedies and naturopathy etc. Diabetes is incurable, progressive and can have awful consequences if not well managed.

Am I a doctor? No, I have diabetes 2 myself, and I am giving you all the info I got. Good luck.

What are low glycemic index foods

This index indicates the relative effect of a food on the body's blood sugar level. Pure glucose has a GI of 100.

A low GI food is one with an index of less than 55, and will have less effect on blood sugar level rise, so is better for diabetics.

GI is not an indicator of speed of blood sugar rise after eating, but generally speaking low GI foods will also release glucose to the blood more slowly.

What Really Is The basis for renal failure?

The many usual factors behind kidney disease are diabetes and high blood pressure (high blood-pressure). Studies show that diabetes causes around half of instances of renal failure, and questionable causes simply over 1 / 4 of instances.

Diabetes
Diabetes is a disorder where the human body doesn't generate enough insulin (type 1 diabetes) or will not make efficient use of it (non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus). Our bodies require velosulin since it reduces the glucose (sugars) in our bloodstream as a way to generate saccharide which supplies us with electricity.

In the event your diabetes isn't well-controlled, an excessive amount of glucose (sugars) may develop in your bloodstream. The sugar may subsequently harm the nephrons (miniature filters), which then, influences the skills of your kidneys to filter waste materials and liquids.

Sort 1 diabetes is more inclined to guide to elimination infection. Approximately between 20-40% of people who have type 1 diabetes may create kidney infection by age fifty.

Elimination infection seldom happens typically in the first ten years of diabetes, and between 15-25 years may move before elimination infection happens. Yet, diabetes might be better restrained, and as therapy options for diabetes enhance, the amount of people who have diabetes who produce elimination infection is slowly dropping.

Hypertension
Blood-pressure is a measure of just how much stress is called for by your center to pump the blood through your veins and arterial vessels. A lot of stress will result in heart condition, and can lead to harm to your own human body's organs.

The root of 90% of cause of kidney stones of large blood-pressure (high blood pressure) are not known, but there is apparently a connection involving the status and overall health, diet and way of life

By getting tension to the little arteries in the kidneys harm is caused by high blood pressure. This stops from operating correctly the selection procedure.

Can diabetics eat pasta? I have a friend coming over who is diabetic and I wanted to make pasta for dinner.

Pasta is a food that is high in carbohydrates, so diabetics can eat pasta but would have to just keep an eye on portion size. If you want to reduce the carb level of your pasta dish, you should use whole wheat pasta that is rich in fiber and slows the digestion of carbs down so sugar levels don't rise as quickly.
