SOURCE: Fossil Big Tic Brown Cuff Watch - Faulty??

back screws off (you can get the correct tools or bodge with opened long nose pliers)
battery is GP377 50-99p each, you need 2, the 'seconds tic' will **** juice and last about 6 months, the time one will last 12 months + so buy 3-4 batteries.

fossil watches are very temperamental when it comes to there insides. did you have fossil do the band or someone else? also they sometimes have corrosion from the seals not lasting.

I have a Fossil ES-9722 wrist watch without a battery. What size battery does it need?

You want to know type, not size. Take the watch to a jeweler who, for a few dollars will replace the battery.

Battary size for fossil blue watch bq8775

Thanks for contacting Fossil.
The only way to know the battery size is to pull out the old one. It might also be in your manual. It might be on the outside of the watch.
If battery is missing, then you will have to measure the cavity and match it against a battery chart.
Best wishes.

I don't have the original battery to my watch, and am looking for a replacement. The watch is a Fossil Arkitekt FS-3031

Thank you for contacting FixYa.

Unfortunately, unless it is stamped on the back of the watch, or it is in your manual, there is no way of knowing the battery that goes in any watch without the old one, or very accurate sizing of the area it goes in. I have found a fossil watch model BG-2103. I cannot get the back off to change the battery, can you tell me how to get the back off and how much this watch cost.

mcdevito75 here, Look for any Notch in the cover that match a notch in the case, use a knife with a sharp blade and place the knife in the notch and with a slight twisting motion the cover should pop off. Depending on the age of the watch and the functions cost could be anywhere betwwen $25.00----$60.00 Fossil watches are also collectables.

Watch back will not fit back on after battery replacement

You could buy a watch case press or take it to a watchmaker. Does the back belong to this watch? I recommend a new seal with the removal of the back.
