On my RZT50 Troy Built I have to engage the parking brake to start it and release it before I move the arms in over my lap or it shuts down.

Just purchased a toro zero turn mower at garage sale. Ran very well first couple weeks. I was running it the other day, shut it down, jumped back on 10 mins later, mower does not start.

You'll need to check all the safety switches. Probably one in the seat, one for the mower engaged, one for clutch/parking brake engaged, possibly one for reverse gear selected, and possibly for position of the steering arms.

M60 cub cadet zero turn. What causes it to shut off?

There is also a safety switch for each of control arms, they both have to be in the neutral position. You may have to adjust the arms.
Are you checking the resistance at the switches?

You don't adjust it yourself, contact Authorized Service Station and they'll adjust it for you.

I have 42" zero turn turo, I can't start the

Always have steering control arms out completely. It will not start if you don't.

The bypass levers (for manual pushing) MUST be engaged for motor drive.

Craftsman zero turn - blades won't engage

The PTO switch contacts to operate the clutch that starts the blades is defective. I have replaced mine and the new one just failed again. Sears must know this is a defect problem but so far they are quiet about the problem

under the seat should be 2 black adjusting knobs, left and right control arms, these are for adjusting the neutral lock position
