Question about Zenith Televison & Video
When I turn on the picture is fine. After a few minutes the picture appears posterized (loses its color range) and begins to flicker.
There is no T'Con board to Plasma TVs. Flickering can be of many reasons. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Faults & possible causes to LCD & Plasma screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent. The old saying that a pictures is worth a thousand words could have been looking at this one... If the lower screen had been streaked in B&W or bands ran completely through the picture Old Drummer I would suspect the logic board also but that's lower y-board failure.

Thanks for using FixYa. As you have already replaced the Z-sus and the main logic board then the issue seems to be with the Y-main and/or Y-sus board. You’ll need to take the back off and check for any blown/bulged capacitors that might have gone bad and causing this issue. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Logic Control D Board got nothing to do with this problem. This is your main power supply gone bad(usually not the sub power supply). I just repaired my VIZIO by replacing main power supply. Just remove back cover and your board will be right in the middle of the screen. Just get board part/serial # and google it. My best price was through eBay(around $100). Everything is fine now.

Are you sure that its the main A/Vboard coz it sounds like the main power supply issue to me. Anyways the mainboard is the large board usually located at the center of the tv. If you can remove the back cover of the tv and get me a high res picture of the tv I can mark the board for you.
