What is formula to find percentage of females in my workplace?

To get around this, you can calculate your numbers as percentages first. For example, if you type the formula =10/100 in cell A2, Excel will display the result as 0.1. If you then format that decimal as a percentage, the number will be displayed as 10%, as you 'd expect.Aug 2, 2011

How do i use the percentage function?

If you want to find 25% of 500
500 X 25 [2ndF] % will display 125.

If you want to know what % a number is of another number like for instance...
What percentage is 120 of 400?
120 [DIV] 400 [2ndF] % will display 30.

If you want to increase a number by some percentage like
Increase 500 by 25%
500 + 25 [2ndF] % will display 625.

If you want to decrease a number by a percentage like
Decrease 400 by 30%
400 - 30 [2ndF] % will Display 280.

NOTE [2ndF] is the 2ndF button. Do not enter the brackets [ and ].
NOTE [DIV] is the divide button. The text editor would not let me enter the divide symbol

Wha is a percentage number of another of another

Hmmm. Could you give more details? Are you wanting to find a percentage? If so, here's an example - 10% of 100 is 10.
Multiply 100 by .10 = 10.

So to find the percentage of a number, multiply the number in question by the decimal version of the percentage. 8% is .08, 15% is .15, etc.

I hope that helps!

How do I calculate percentage of increase

26=A (the A is the percentage of the this year)
so we make 26*100=3*A
A=2600/3=866.67 (is the percentage of the this year)
and to know the percentage increase (we remove the percentage of the last year (100%) from the percentage of the this year 866.67%
so we get 866.67-100=766.67
so your percentage increase is 766.67%

The percentage depends on how many total claims were filed. If you filed 100 claims and everybody else filed 100 claims, then the percentage of your claims is 50%. If everybody else filed 300 claims, the percentage is 25%.

As for the billing, we can't tell you anything without knowing at least whose billing you're referring to. Are you referring to some insurance company? A debt collection company? A gold mine registration agency?
